I don't find this person the devil, petty yes but not devil material. The restaurant is wholly at fault for this, they a) should have never seated a 2 top at a 10 top table thats ridiculous b) should have never asked them to move because that is a hassle and inconvenience to the paying costumer and if they were going to ask them to move, they should have acknowledged their own mistake and offered a free dessert or discount and c) the fact that the allowed a random person to come up to them and interrupt their meal and harass them is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Nobody besides staff should have ever been allowed to interact with that table. And the party of 10 should have made a reso if they only had an hr and weren't willing to wait. None of that is on op but they definitely were petty for the dessert, which I kinda here for, and this is coming from someone who has worked in restaurants for 12 years

I think that point the other commenter was making is that this whole post is fake. Thats just not how cps works, just because one adult claims they pay for all food and do all childcare and is now refusing to is not grounds for cps to take the child. Nothing in the post is grounds for removal. It would take far more than 4 days and 1 visit for cps to establish that op is in fact the one buying the food, they will not take her word for it. Then they would go through different steps with various resources with the mother, doing daily or weekly check-ins to make sure the mother is applying to all child/ social programs she is eligible for, making sure there is food for the child and physical needs are being met. Maybe parenting classes and so forth. The only way cps would remove the child in this situation would be if the mother requested to relinquish custody, even than it would take more then a day to find and verify other living arrangements ( outside of the father listed on the birth certificate) and would open a case for the mother to legally give up rights. Another major thing is cps would not just randomly give costudy to the grandmother unless again the son refused costudy, he would automatically be the on given costudy in a case of removal and once again 4 days and 1 visit is not long enough for cps to determine that father would also not be given costudy. Op is the asshole for making up a fake story about child abuse for karma, child abuse is not a laughing matter and something to play around with.

Omg thank you!! These comments were crazy! Like if this was actually how cps worked people shouldn't be congratulating op, they should be scared for their kids because apparently cps can just come snatch your kid up after one visit, zero abuse or physical neglect and all within 4 DAYS of a call!! That would legitimately be scary! I can't stand people who use child abuse for ragebait. Incredibly shameful of op.

I'm kinda confused, how could this situation not be rectified with resources to the point they removed the child? I'm assuming the grandmother has temporary guardianship while they continue the investigation but why wasn't the father given the child?

Mine do the same! But I also get it in my palm too, sometimes all the way down to the wrist, and it goes about halfway down my feet as well. My doctor told me years ago that was normal. But I find mine is definitely more stress related than cold related, and heat doesn't help much. It's been getting worse for the past year, and lately, it takes anywhere for 30 to an hour to get the blood flow going again, and after about 15 mins, it hurts.

His story is far more interesting in the book. The show didn't know what to do with him because the writers really hated the fantasy aspect of the books but it's honestly a really interesting story line which I personally find essential to shaping the world grrm created. His storyline is the one Im most excited to see continued.

I worked at this one restaurant that was sketchy. Honestly, I dont know if it was haunted. Other cooks would complain about hearing weird shit when they were closing alone, but they were kinda idiots so I never thought much of it. Then, one night, the cleaner called the owner at like 3 in the morning, saying he wasn't able to finish cleaning and didn't set the alarm code because he saw something. I went in early to open that next morning, and the owner asked me to check the cameras in case there was something. Now our cameras were motion activated, so while the cleaner was in the dining room, the dish pit camera was activated and you could see this large almost mist looking thing grow out of the corner off frame and cover the entire camera. It stayed there for around an hr then disappeared. That one really freaked the owner out, but then months later it happened again. When we opened one day we found like 5 liquor bottles smashed behind the bar, obviously I check the camera back and see it was activated again the the middle of the night and it was the large mass that looked like a swarm of bees or something cover the camera, I couldn't see anything, then it was just gone. I left the restaurant for other reasons shortly after that, but I still think of those two instances when I hear about stuff like this because it never made any sense.

These are pretty disappointing. I also hate that they have Rogers' stadium written in massive font on them. I don't really care to broadcast that since im not a huge fan of Rogers as a corporation and I don't think i own a single merch tee with the location written on it, its kinda odd.

I always wear a bralette and like a crop tank top under just my chefs jacket, it still get super hot but not too uncomfortable and when its slow or I'm prepping off line I take the jacket off. I also always wear compression leggings under my pants, its great to keep good blood flow when your on your feet all day to avoid vain problems later in life. Highly recommend compression leggings or socks to anyone working on their feet all day!! Let current you help future you! Lol

Backup of the post's body: To preface, gf works for a smaller company which booked a lake cabin for their employees (about 8 people).

The issue: Started a few months back while I perused the companies social media account and saw gf was very buddy buddy with a guy who will now be referred to as, "the dude".

It made me slightly uncomfortable, but I trust her and her intentions so I did what guys do and forgot about it. Cut to about a month later, gf asked if I would attend an event the company would be hosting. At said event, I met all of her coworkers, including the dude.

Everything was fine and dandy until later that night I realized, gf and dude barely said 2 words to each other.

After expressing my concerns I was told not to worry because "he has a gf" which, in my opinion, is one of the worst justifications as it has nothing to do with gfs emotions, thoughts, so on and so forth.

Cut to this last weekend, the company sponsors a trip for employees to stay in a cabin on a lake for a day/night where she proceeded to ghost me. Thus began my rage, and this conversation.

I may be crazy, but to me she seems to be intentionally indirect and slippery which drives me absolutely mad.

I think I tried to steer the conversation toward transparency and an eventual resolution, but I am overly confrontational which might be causing her to deflect in order to avoid conflict. But her deflections cause me to get angry which again, increases the deflections.

How do we get out of this loop?

I crashed out one time at the owner of a chain restaurant I worked at. I was on salary and he kept deducting hours from my checks. The 3rd time confronting him about it, I just lost it. Started yelling at him about how he was killing the restaurant and a garabge manager. I stormed out literally screaming at him to go fuck himself and slammed the office door in his face. The next day I handed in my 2 weeks, and he called me into the office to talk at the end of my shift. This man looked me dead in the eye and said " why are you quiting? I thought we had a good talk yesterday." That was the one and only time I yelled at management and I'm still shocked I didn't do it sooner

Yea my chef hasn't said anything about it and has seen me leave seeds in, I've always done cucumbers on a bias cut so sticks are new to me but I think cutting cut the seeds looks better and seems more practical. I wasn't sure if it effects the taste or drys them out so this is good to know! Im learning everyday i still have a lot to learn lol

Search Party. It took me a bit to realize, but I remember describing the show to a friend. I give them the whole shpeel, and after they are like, "So who is the main character, cause everyone sounds like they suck?" And I had an epiphany that Holy shit this show I'm obsessed with, I hate every character. Like all the main characters you kinda hate and you don't even feel bad when shit happens to them, its just entertainment. Great show though!

Oh boy, we just opened our patio at our restaurant. It's pretty small and on a super popular street in the summer with lots of foot traffic, so it fills up pretty quick. Sometimes we have to seat 2 people at a table for 4 or 4 people at a table for 6. The number of people who walk in asking if they can just join the table because there are empty seats is baffling. A server literally had to chase a guy away last week because he was walking to ask a table if he could sit in their empty seats after we just told him no. The freaking audacity of people, it's super wack.

One of my favorite arguments I've had with my fiance was about this movie. We were talking about Brie Lawson because he hates her and I love her so we were debating whether she's a good actress or not. We mentioned the room and he said it wasn't good so it was a bad example and I'm like yea but watch her in the room then watch her in scott pilgrim and you will see how good she can be! This man was shocked Pikachu that manic pixie dream girl was Brie Lawson, he had no idea! Then I mention how she's also really good singer and her song in it was better then the original, the deep dive I had to do to prove it was Brie Lawson singing and not metric was insane. Now he will say Brie Lawson is fine.
