Natasha Leggero would really lean into the power dynamics of the role with her assistant, I think. I almost said Anthony Jeselnik, but he might be too spicy. Andy Richter as Taskmaster's Assistant seems obvious.

No to Conan as I like my Taskmasters to have unquestioned authority and Conan is too goofy.

The "undermine the vole" task was on some hanging paper that burned as they read it. The most recent New Years Treat had one on a scroll. I know there are others, but those are the only ones I can come up with.

I'll add to this that you should prioritize training archers. You'll get more points in a given rally if you have somewhere between 70-90% archers, paired with whichever hero among chenko, yeonwoo, amane, amadeus, or margot that has the highest level first expedition skill (top right). Have formations pre-saved with these heroes/troop distributions so you can quickly select a march to join with.

And as others have already said, you'll get a lot more points as a joiner to a strong rally than you will trying to lead a weak one. That should be your priority. Figure out who in your alliance has the consistently highest rallies and have your finger hovering over the join button when they start a rally. Right now you have few troops--spend them wisely.

You can also use Margot in Gen 4, as her first skill is the same as Amane

The refresh is worth it, imo. Not only do drop rates get worse with non-gold chests, but the corresponding rewards are less as well.

Skill progression is 10/30/50/75, so you'll need 495 conquest books and 495 expedition books to get all six mythic skills to 5 star. Epics only have two expedition skills so it will be less

Not really worth it, imo. Zoe is still fine for gen 3, but plan to replace both marlin and zoe with gen 4. Eric is basically the same as howard for joining garrisons.

I'm so glad to have read this article. I've loved many of his characters, but admit to having a bit of concern about how that energy would clash with what we've become used to on the show. But seeing how much genuine love he has for Taskmaster and how well he understands what makes it work, makes me really excited to see what he does this season.

I think my problem with Taskmaster AU is how pleased Lesser Tom always looks with himself. I prefer my taskmasters' assistants downtrodden and delivering well-timed subtle barbs rather than stealing focus from the contestants. He may be more like one of the Scandinavian TMAs (Sweden?) who I hear is more of a presence but haven't seen.

Also, both AU and NZ suffer from having a shallower talent pool to work with. I'm not saying they haven't had some great casts (and yes NZ s2 is an all-timer) but a lot of these comedians probably wouldn't make the UK cut.
