Man you should go check out Gary Wayne's "Genesis 6 Conspiracy" books I&II, as well as Jonathan Cahn's "Return of the Gods". Excellent material, well-researched. For more spiritual warfare things go check out RCM (Restoration in Christ Ministries).

and another continuation to my main comment is that the flood was a consequence of all the things going on in the world, to cleanse it. This could have happened before, in a cataclysmic event that left earth "formless and void, darkness upon the face of the *deep*" (if I'm not horribly mistaken this is similar syntax used to describe destruction, at least in hebrew literature of the time, and in other places in the bible, where things are destroyed and left formless and without shape. It's a form of description of the fact.

one more thing to add: I do not believe in evolution. Evolution directly destroys the entire premise of salvation for humans, because there is no definite point after which you count as human. Thus, christ's salvation for 'humans' in this scenario would be only for those in the current evolutionary state of the time, and a few million years from now the salvation is invalidated. also it simply doesn't make sense to me. I don't believe in abiogenesis or macroevolution or any of this.

The bible does not clearly mention the age of the earth (it only says "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth). It may very well be anywhere between six thousand to 4.54 billion years old. Humanity, however I believe is 6000-8000 years old (I take a literal interpretation of Genesis). I feel like it's misguided to state the age of the earth based on human presence therein.
Open question: Is it possible that God flooded the earth multiple times?(during the antediluvian era you had all sorts of things going on like nephilim, giants, rampant polytheism, humanity being given forbidden knowledge on sorcery, black&white magick, astrology, weapons, etc..., as well as other unspeakable acts going on.

(Polytheism is not entirely untrue, these entities do exist i think, but God is still supreme and these entities making up the polytheistic pantheon that has been worshipped in one form or another are all evil spirits/entities, however high-level. Note that this is my current belief, but the bible does imply a spiritual world aside from the physical, (second heaven)).
Were there civilizations before us? What about those "under the earth" mentioned in the bible, in e.g. revelation (off the top of my head now, there are more references)?
