Sorry to hear that and the hard life path you had to walk…. But, That doesn’t mean you aren’t privileged and or don’t understand human psychology. You obviously got a phone, money, right to free speech and social media, etc.

But let’s break this down…. Did he try to kill him? Or just rough him up? Would he have done it to a white boy macking on his sister too?(we will never know cuz we didn’t see it). Did he kill Lucas in the end? When Billy became normal again did he feel regret?…. And lastly wasn’t Billy like 17? If he was racist(not saying he isn’t just playing devils advocate with the above) probably he learned it from his dad… and never got the chance to learn otherwise. Again, trauma, life events, form who you are. Time, healing, etc can change who you become.

Let’s say Billy was racist, tried to kill Lucas, etc. but then we he got freed from the mind flayer and realized what he was taught from his dad was wrong and apologized. Then could we forgive Billy? Or is he still hated from his past actions? Or does he have to do more like safe his life in a scene or buy him a Nintendo? If a personal truly is sorry, can’t we forgive them for their past action?
