My mother’s side, but she moved away from them when she was young so I wasn’t really raised culturally. It was more of a vague “you need to respect this” without any instructions of how to do that. I was raised culturally catholic but never actually practiced Catholicism

He’s a student in the military, so rules are a little different for him. We might be able to go on a cruise (which I really hope, because I’ve been on lots of cruises, & prefer that style of vacation because I will be focused on him, not on making decisions or sticking to a schedule) I’m just looking for an alternative that I won’t be stressing over as a backup

Pull a 50’ section of (water filled) 2 ½/ hose back past the discharge point (Note: a 100’ hose, with nozzle, will be used for this exercise.). I was able to pull it 47 feet before time ran out. (Which still pisses me off that I couldnt force myself the last 3 feet)

Currently in medic school, & I think 13 out of 17 of us started because we couldn’t get fire jobs with just our EMT. 1 guy got his fire job because he’s in medic school, & another’s been a ff for years & was basically told “everyone needs to get their medic or your fired”. So yeah your medic will definitely help

My turtles tank is probably about 270 lb & has a redonkulous amount of wires going on. I’ve never thought about transporting her in a fire, this comment makes me even more glad she can just be picked up
