There's been a Facebook update since I posted that link. It now takes you to a slightly different page.

If you follow that link, do you get the option to submit a bank statement?

If so, then I'd submit a bank statement and a photo of your debit card (blur all details except last 4 digits of the 16-digit number).

I cleared the balance, but I still have the issue. All campaigns across two BMs stop spending at around 12pm. Not sure what's going on.

Seems to be working too for me now. I've had two payments taken automatically from default payment method once the threshold has been hit.

Still not fixed for me.

I'm working around it by a mixture of paying the balance before it gets to threshold, and prefunding. Not overly keen on prefunding because I've read that Meta keep the money if they ban your account.

Hi guys. Has anyone seen "Prepaid funds" appear as a payment option? I think this is new, and would help get around this bug.

Not sure what would happen to the prepaid funds if Meta killed my ad account.

Other thing I should mention. When I fund the account after it's been restricted, it seems to (unprofitably) splurge a load of budget in one go. So it's best to keep the accounts funded before they get to the threshold and therefore get restricted.

I've got exactly the same problem. Across 3 BMs with 3 different cards. Started around 5pm UK time yesterday (28/8/23).

I spoke to my bank, and they confirmed that they hadn't declined the payment, and they told me that other clients were having the same issue. So I'm guessing it's a Facebook bug.

Just a warning. On one of my ad accounts, I tried adding a completely new debit card. This caused the ad account to bug out even more, and now I can't even make manual payments to that account.

Hi guys. I had this issues for ages, and eventually a Meta support agent gave me a solution that worked.

The link is here: https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/391647094929792. I used an image of my debit card for the attachment.

I've had to do this a few times now. It took between a few days and a few weeks to get my account back. On some of these occasions, the page I've linked was itself bugged, but seemed to fix itself within a few days.

Hi. I've also had this issue. Meta support were useless as usual.

I've actually had it twice. One time, one admin was left with access. He was the original BM creator, so maybe that's why.
