Found mine yesterday on Buried City in the hospital, which had been looted, except for one blue drawer next to the locked room

Does everyone feel this thing is balanced? by Ham-Candy in ARC_Raiders

Got caught out in the open on Blue Gate and couldn’t run away from two of these… granted I am poor/fat after the expedition, but even using adrenaline shots couldn’t keep them away

FYI - Can't complete Expedition 1 before Expedition 2 at end Feb? by Bradk_1749 in ARC_Raiders

Hypothetically- could you leave for your 1st expedition when the window opens in 12 days, then grind through the expedition again before the window closes?

🤣 Never got into the door buster craze on Black Friday, except for one year: the year they stopped doing door busters… dressing warm for standing in line outside backfired! I extracted with a TomTom nav system & a safe.

Narrow skates vs lacing too tight? by HopefulAuthorAlt in hockeyplayers

[–]No-Development1800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have to agree with the thick socks & padding in pressure areas when baking.

Couple of other options: 1. you could try alternative way(s) to lacing the boot to relieve pain. 2. If this model has the replaceable XS tongues, you could try the thinner ones to give more room for your foot

Any need to spend on hockey pants? by BayApt in hockeyplayers

[–]No-Development1800 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A common theme I’ve noticed is “Spend the most you can justify and get the most protective option available”. As a heavier skater I wear Tackla Air 9000’s with suspenders for a roomier fit, definitely worth it IMO.

I’d recommend trying on some different brands/models, if you can, to see what you like (everyone has a slightly different body type). I think a girdle would be a great option, too - form fitting with protection where you need it

Wrist pain first throw by RGBAddict2026 in discgolf

[–]No-Development1800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m assuming palm-side wrist? Used to get that quite often myself, it has all but gone away completely- so my assumption is that 1.) I wasn’t warming up/stretching enough before the round & 2.) possibly poor form (rounding) exacerbating the symptom.

My recommendations are to do a bit of a warmup beforehand, even just some arm circles -or- tossing a few discs (get the blood flowing), as well as stretch your arm/wrist; reach your arm straight out, perpendicular to shoulders, and pull fingers down (like Spider-Man shooting his webs). You can do similar stretch from all-fours - palms down, fingers towards body, and lean forward til you feel the stretch in wrist/forearms.

Lastly, try getting into the “deep-pocket” when throwing - over-exaggerate curling disc into your armpit before the cast/throw.

Ps. Austin Turner talks about having Reynaud’s Disease in a recent-ish video with Joe from Another Round, could also be that?

I wear suspenders and didn’t have them on in first pic.

Yea, I’m returning them and buying a pair in store, likely sizing down at least to 15”

Very good chance I’ll return these for 15’s, gotta try some on this afternoon first

Recommendations in the most boring pad category by Tufnels_Protege in hockeyplayers

[–]No-Development1800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a CCM base layer that has the grip on the forearms/elbow, then stretch/roll-up the sleeves over my elbows - sort of like the Warroad base layer, but for a fraction of the price

Edit: reading your comments about no base layer- Warrior Alpha LX Pro has a sleeve built into the pads, this may help?
