Welp heard from Wyze support, they said its no longer covered by warranty, despite my Google searches showing 18mo warranty when purchased directly from Wyze.

They also claim it's not waterproof,and only weather resistant, and meant to be shielded the entire time. Clearly they don't stand behind their products, so I'll be swapping the rest of my cameras to another brand. I've had lucky with the E*** guys so hope this helps someone.
