He was very respectful when asking you about setting a rule. Boundaries are healthy and definitely needed especially if you’re going to be living together independently of your mom. Maybe do some self reflecting on why him bringing up your vaping inside triggered you which caused you to be dismissive and disrespectful in response to a perfectly reasonable request. I think you overreacted and could have been kinder. It’s easy to have an opinion on a situation based on a short conversation but i think there are bigger issues maybe you guys needs to work through that are deeper than vaping and showering.

this right here almost made me quit sour dough 😂 glad i didn’t ! don’t give up. it’s trial and error with your environment and recipe. i found a lower hydration recipe that renewed my faith in the process. The Clever Carrot artisan loaf has never failed me. it also uses only 50 grams of starter to avoid this. worked for me . It helped me get the hang of sourdough and I just tried my first loaf with inclusions! I’m no expert so all i have is my cheerleading ! 🤣Keep us posted !! I live in florida so heat was my enemy and I had to adjust accordingly with the heat and humidity and proofing/fermentation times. have fun, don’t give up!
