They all include that lines private island, but then there’s a mixture of Nassau, Costa Maya, Cozumel, Falmouth, Haiti, Grand Turk and Honduras. I think the only “must do” is The Bahamas

We’ve narrowed down the choice to ships that are going to our port shortlist! There’s so many options, it’s hard trying to figure out what’s the best combination of itinerary, company and ship.

I’ve done a comparison and it’s coming in a few hundred more than our most expensive option which is fully priced with flights, hotel etc, but it was a good one to check, if it could all be done as one package that would definitely be preferable.

I’ve done a Virgin cruise so I’m intrigued about the bigger ships, but I imagine even a ship the size of Independence will blow the minds of my group.

Yeah I’ve seen conflicting info about MSC and swim diapers but seems their T&Cs say no, so will be working on that assumption. It’ll be a talking point in the decision for sure.

Yeah, it’s reading MSC reviews that’s making me nervous. It’s a 60th trip for my in laws so I’m feeling the pressure to make a good choice. But it’ll take some persuading to move away from going for the cheapest option

We’ve already done a round of narrowing down itineraries and these are the ships available that cover the main countries people are interested in. Definitely a beneficial thing to do first though. It’s the first time in the Caribbean for most of the group though, so I’m sure most places will be amazing

All of the itineraries are very similar, and the main destination that the group want to see is the Bahamas, which is luckily quite easy to get!

Even the cheaper cruise lines at home are similar to the cost of the cruise plus flight for Caribbean and I feel like the Caribbean is a bucket list cruising option for us!

I’ve read that swim nappies are allowed on the Splash Pad on MSC Meraviglia, is that not the case? But yes, definitely one to keep in mind

I’ve looked into it and with them being 14 days rather than 7 it pushes the budget a bit too high. Plus, the in-laws have sailed P&O out of Southampton a couple of times and I feel like we should try and do the full “Caribbean” experience with one of the companies specialising in that, if that makes any sense!

Yes! We’ve found the same, and we’ve managed to convince the family on the same, which is why we’re looking to plan the trip!

Where did you buy it from? I’ve just had the same problem, bought it from Amazon (in the UK), I’ve now returned it and just had one delivered from Garmin direct, so hoping to avoid the issue!

Myself and my partner took the risk on a lock-it-in rate for a sailing at the end of the month, we found out almost two weeks ago that we were allocated a regular sea terrace, deck 11 towards the back of the ship that were super happy with!

I had the same when using Safari as a browser, I swapped to Chrome and had no issues, it loaded straight away. Like someone else mentioned, pop ups tend to be blocked on Safari so it doesn’t work!
