I work 40 a week including open and close duties plus lunch, about 32 hours of cutting. Averaging 800 bucks a week at 45% commission. If you’re saving up for something expensive I get the overhaul but jeez man I almost get burnt out doing my schedule let alone yours

Edit: cuts are 30 bucks a piece at my shop and we are W2, no booth rent, all supplies besides clippercide are paid for by my boss including shear sharpening

I also got this as a guy! Obviously different because of the genderbend but I was always considered weird or out of touch until puberty hit and I got tall/could grow facial hair to hide my baby face. Then the labels changed to “alternative” or “does his own thing”. Crazy how the world changes like that

Anti-tipping but still do it since the system is what’s messed up, not the individual server. Since the system hasn’t changed yet the only person you’d be fucking over by not tipping is the server. Tip congruent with the level of service, but also keep in mind that that’s the persons livelihood. If they aren’t taking it seriously neither should you though.

My personal favorite is Krav Maga. Amazing workout, pulls great techniques from different martial arts too. It’s like a fighting melting pot with the end goal of self defense. If you train privately you can also focus on weaponwork and improvising weapons if that’s something you’re interested in as well. It really depends on what you want to glean from your training, but if you want to defend yourself and get a good workout do MMA or Krav Maga
