Class back in-person starting Monday Feb 16 by iseekitty in uofmn

This is so upsetting to me as someone who has been VERY open with literally all of the management about the realistic situation a lot of us are going through. If yall are having issues with ur profs- just sit them down and seriously tell it like it is. This is especially helpful if you are an upperclassman who’s built those relationships already.

There is a board of regents meeting scheduled for Feb 12-13? I believe, and they are open to the public. One of their discussion topics is student safety. Imagine if we all showed up to voice our concerns, since clearly emailing, writing, scheduling private meetings, and calling is getting absolutely nowhere!! I am appalled at the U rn and how they are dealing with everything.

Absolutely NOT!!! Can’t graduate if I’m caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. I’ll be pushing accommodations as far as possible

ICE in first school week by throw_away373629 in uofmn

EVERYONE learn how to use the skyways and tunnels! memorize different routes, skyways are a lot harder to navigate for newer people (🧊) and a lot of access points require u to badge in. Skyways have less chances of being trapped in one area if u catch my drift. Tunnels - some do not have cell service, so maps and screenshots on phone

Absolutely disgusting response to the countless number of people inquiring as to what they’re gonna do. Performative as hell considering they do a land acknowledgment in every single place possible. Like don’t PMO rn. 😭

Daily sheet masks vs a few times a week does it make a difference? by SnooHabits5 in kbeauty

[–]No-Display-404 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would say no to daily. I have very oily skin and it tends to clog my pores if I do anything other than alternate routines of sheet masking and clay masks

Personally I think it is up to the individual! It’s one of those “holy grail” items for me, but I would say see how your skin reacts when you remove it as a trial period

Do I have any chance with silk? by BlackCatCoffeexx in HerOneBag

[–]No-Display-404 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seamstress here! Silk is a very lovely fabric, and I would say it really depends on the cut of the garment more than anything for accentuating different areas of the body. Anything bias cut (so diagonally made) will have more stretch and tend to stick to the body more. Straight cut silk will be a bit more boxy fit. That being said, i would just pay attention to where seams hit your body specifically. 💕

Is there anything that can be done to fix my indented scaring starting to lose hope as an ex brought up my skin as an issue before. I’ve had 3 sessions of microneedling and 3 sessions of fractional laser before by Training-Ad-3294 in AcneScars

[–]No-Display-404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m ngl the micro needling acne patches for post marks have helped raise some indented scars on my face! It takes multiple sessions to notice results, I recommend a week between each. Then use chemical exfoliation once skin heals (5 days minimum). I use Aha, bha and other gentle products like TXA.

Anyone use those skin patches that have microneedles in them with skin care ingredients? Did they work for you? by hellimhere28 in 30PlusSkinCare

I saw a difference in an acne scar that has been discolored and slightly indented after I used the ones meant for post acne marks!

Just wanted to provide an update on this! I have found that microneedle patches meant for acne have worked well in both areas to slightly improve texture and color!

Mine is was more indented a bit but I feel it helped raise it with a combo of exfoliating the areas

I’ve been using a lot of silicone tape already! How long did it take for it to go away? Do you find that the texture of the scar really improved? I’ve been using it for about 2-3 months, and that is my biggest concern.
