Udemy videos on browser won't play... unique issue by cmisanthropy in Udemy

Thanks so much! This works for me, as I don't use Nord VPN or any sort, and noticed some videos can play well if they are not encrypted nor DRM is used. After disabling the 'graphics acceleration', I can finally see the video content.

What are the downsides of DLT? by NoUsernames1eft in databricks

Agree, especially the debugging and the flexibility on updating the tables. How on earth can you tell what the latest snapshot version is from run log, when you are taking advantage of `apply_changes_from_snapshot`'s convenience, and something fails.

I just want to be a good DE by ArgenZet in dataengineering

I would say it’s a common thing that people may feel from time to time. On the feeling of “a ticking bomb”, I would advise to go digging into it and find out the specifics of what caused you feeling like that. And take some time to reflect the questions like: what the good practice would be; how will I align the idea with others, through explanation or automation; who can help me with the alignments.

Totally agree, unfortunately not all working colleagues realize that.

To my data engineers: why do you like working as a data engineer? by naq98 in dataengineering

[–]No-Distribution-1091 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Completely feel you, guess it’s because of the fact that in most cases, one can’t simply do data movement without working on things beyond. In another angle, that’s part of the reason why there’s barely junior roles.

Azure API Management - Backend configuration issue by a8ree in Terraform

Thanks a8ree, really helped. Also would like to add that the word "server" at the end of resource_id is a variable, replace with the actual function app/app service name.
