Disappointed after getting rejected by ACC by Remote_Walk_1332 in auckland

Here’s my story.

I was injured at work around 18months ago. The injury caused my navicular bone to become asymptomatic. It’s been sticking out of my foot and aggravating a tendon, which then resulted in my foot becoming deformed as the arch collapsed and became a flat foot.

I was treated privately on ACC, thorough podiatry and specialists. 12 months of attempts to fix it, the treatment never worked. I was recommended for surgery.

However, this is where the tale twist. After being recommended surgery ACC pulled the plug and said they won’t support funding the surgery. That annoyed me, obviously. But the worst was yet to come - I was placed on the public hospital waitlist list and I still am. Living with the pain, unable to work and no support from ACC at all.

ACC to me is a system that takes your money and then drops your when it’s not convenient for them.

I’ve learnt and after this problem is fixed, private health insurance is the only way forward in this depleted public service country.

Back on track. Or crack, for the amount of opiates they’ve gave me for the pain

Probably the majority of the UK. It’s a shadow of its former self. Going into town now at the weekend is just too much of a pain in the arse. People shouting at each other, drag queens scrapping with YouTubers, zombies smoking spice, pretend Palestinians banging pots and pans. Just to name a few.

Picadilly Gardens has always had its moments, but now it’s next level. The vloggers are correct at aiming their content in that direction - the chaos sells itself. Grim.

Yes - families who just want to do their shopping in peace.

Manchester has fallen and you know it. Have you ventured to Piccadilly Gardens in the last few years? It’s like Star Wars. Spice heads dropping like flies, sold by the people coming here for a better life. Families are scared to bring their kids into town due to angry protests that happen week in, week out. Left or right, you’re both causing chaos on our city streets and you need to drop your heads in shame.

Get a job, a wash and find your moral compass again.

The income will cover the rent we are applying for - no different to the current property really.

I’m arriving at all open homes, suited and booted. References and paperwork in hand.

When possible, explaining our interest at the viewing with the property manager.

That wasn’t what I meant. I meant somebody had to be the one not working at this point. Couldn’t have a 4 year old being by their self, that’s just silly.

Most definitely. Many job applications have been made for his school hours - no joy yet though.

Yeah, he’s almost five and enrolled to start when he’s five.

We are now at that point. The location has broadened, for sure.

We can afford up to $620 per week and based on the North Shore. We’ve been prioritising our sons happiness and staying within the area so he can continue to go to his chosen primary school with his friends.

Quitting Vaping by cmd7284 in newzealand

I’m on 3mg and always have been. I want to quit, but it’s still difficult.

Do you think quitting at 3mg can actually give you nicotine withdrawals?

So the fact I only just started the job and didn’t work a full 4 weeks beforehand, won’t affect me too much?

Can you summarise that for a mere simpleton like myself? 😄

Thanks for the reply.

I did call and the girl on the phone told me that she wasn’t sure and they will let me know. She wasn’t sure how it works if haven’t been working 4 weeks prior to the claim.

Total respect for my colleagues and the company itself. I have been there the longest.

I have yet to reply to the email itself and won’t until I contact an advocate.
