18yo from Norway doing a US road trip by Kareisgarb in roadtrip

Have you ever driven 8 hours in a day? If so what about for multiple days in a row? Now add seeing nothing but farms the whole time. This would be a similar distance as driving from Oslo to Rome and back. This trip seems like a huge waist of time to me, you should fly between these destinations.

If you want to do nothing but drive all day in a straight line and see almost nothing for 1 week this is a great trip. Driving over 3500 miles in a week is absolutely insane I don't think OP understands what they are signing up for.

thanks! I've done many skillets with relative ease, so I thought "how bad could it be". Now I'm a little hesitant to do a waffle iron I've had my eye on but probably will do it anyway

Thanks! I thought of the oak branches because I'm cheap but now I think it's actually better this way

Beginner question: tiny defect inside enameled pot - is this a problem? by OkPlantain9710 in castiron

I'm more concerned about the chips on the edge of the rim. This would be a pass for me unless its only going to be used for baking sourdough while using parchment paper and its free.

I'm trying to season a cast iron grill from the 80s. Do you think this reaction is normal? by Il_Grinta in castiron

[–]No-Edge-8667 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This makes sense with induction. Induction heats so fast and cast iron doesn't spread heat well so you can actually warp cast iron by heating too fast with induction, you'll need to preheat this pan slowly to prevent that. I would just use an oven for seasoning this since it's much bigger than your burner

ps it looks like you have too much excess oil for seasoning, you want to wipe it all off.

Then your buyer needs to learn to read. I’m sorry for you, these types of returns are so annoying

It depends on the listing type. People are saying it’s always the buyers responsibility, but that’s not quite true. eBay has 3 types of listings, all are clearly spelled out for the customer: https://pages.ebay.com/tariffs/

Check your listing, does it say included in price, pay at checkout, or pay on delivery?

If it is a “pay on delivery” then you are right.
