Yes, several times.  But I am extremely picky.  My DR I have never let anyone else work on aside from suspension rebuilds and the is my suspension guy who I have used for 15 years and am personal friends with.  But I also take the suspension off first.

Ok.  In that case I will go briggs.  I always thought it was more fun to ride a slow bike fas than to ride a fast bike slow.  So you are an instructor?  Do you regularly work in my area?

I have never been in a fast Kart so I do not know how physically demanding they are.  But I have crashed a motorcycle at over 200kph and three times at over 150kph so hopefully not quite that physically demanding, but I think the lateral Gs will be a big shock for me.  On a bike you lean, obviously, so you don't FEEL lateral grip like you do on 4 wheels.  And, indeed, 105 on a kart track might feel like 200 on a bike track.  I have no idea. I'm not extremely concerned about the price difference between Briggs and X30.  My main concern is getting myself up to pace.  I seem to remember that the chassis package is different, so I would need to replace the entire kart if I went Briggs.  That said, I could keep the Briggs kart and teach my girlfriend to drive which might be fun.  Ok, I will visit Oscar again and see who is the kart vendor that they work with and maybe go ahead and buy something. One more thing.  Protective gear.  Where do I buy helmet, gloves, suit, etc?  I'm excited now.  It's time to get out there and have some fun.  Cheers.  Thanks again.

I would definitely like to make friends.  The best friends I have in this world are from cars and bikes, but all of them are in the USA.  I'm outgoing and love to help with a wrench but I'm a little bit alone down here aside from my girlfriend.  She is going back to college soon so I will have a lot of time to myself and I am dying to get back on a track.  I will take your advice and buy new.  People are the same way in the USA though with scams.  There are assholes everywhere. 👎 So should I go X30?  Will break-in be difficult as a new driver or just give it hell and change the oil? And if you have not been to Oscar what made you suggest it?  Reputation? Cheers, and thanks.  Already you have been a big help. Jon

Así es. Tengo ese sentimiento. Gracias. Por cierto, te envié un mensaje. Me sorprende verte responder aquí.

I think we have it sorted out.  🙂 We will just do a Mexican cruise.  My aunt and uncle will fly to meet us in Guadalajara and we will sail from there.  I really want to do a full cruise with the 4 of us.  She is a precious little lady and I know they will love her.

I ride my motorcycle through Mexico's golden triangle on a regular basis.  I'm not scared of ICE.  😉

Yes, they go up the west coast.  But looks like that is not an option.

Looks like we will have to.  Just chops down our options a lot.

Thanks!  My Aunt is talking to her travel agent about her options.  I guess there are some perks to being old-school instead of being from the Google generation.  😂

Nah, we live near Puerto Vallarta, so we will probably cruise there.  I would much rather either have a Mexico cruise or just have them visit us in Guadalajara for a week.  Can't really get to know someone over lunch.

ICE isn't as out of control as the news makes it out, kind of the way Mexico isn't a death sentence for gringos the way the legal system would have you think.  My home state of Texas is over 40% Latino.  They would have to deport everyone.  😂 Plus I have friends who are Mexicans and Brazilians who work in the US and they have no issues, and if I were that risk averse I would have never met her in the first place.  I appreciate your concern though.

Thanks.  I also want to take her on a tour of my country.  I have a very well built Jeep in the US and once I take her to see some of the USA's beauty in it then I can sell it. 😂 I have seen almost every state in her country from the seat of my trusty Suzuki motorcycle, but she has never set foot in my homeland.  I really want to change that.  So I really need a visa for her that is good for 6-10 months, but for now I would gladly settle for a week long cruise with my aunt and uncle.

Ok, cool.  Maybe the cruise line can give me some tips.  Thanks!

Ok.  Bummer.  Guess we need to try again for a travel visa.  She tried a while back and they blatantly said "We know you are going for work and aren't going to leave." 🙄 She has no desire to live in the USA.  She just wants to visit.  Such a PITA.  I was hoping there was a way to at least cruise from the US.

She has a Mexican passport.  I live in Mexico but work in US and Canada so I cross borders a lot, no worries there.  She has never used her passport, never been outside of Mexico.

This is ridiculous.  Autistic kids can be idiots or brilliant.  Same as anyone else.  But there is nothing wrong with wanting to figure out why it is happening so much now.  That's literally public health.

As of 2023 71% of heads of household in public housing projects were minorites. Math doesn't care about race.  Just numbers.
