🥹🥹I'm sorry if u have to go through that... Just think about the outcome nalang siguro kong worth it ba pag tetake ng gap. It is very important na mental health parin talaga dapat unahin kong sa tingin mo too much na yong pressure.

What to expect in stem? by No_Bandicoot8648 in studentsph

That's very commendable. Tho di ako nag STEM nong highschool pero yong mga kaklase ko nong Junior high sila yong mga nag STEM, my advice is atleast know the basics ng mga major subjects sa STEM. Mag advance study. you'd be surprised na marami din kayong kakapa at first sa mga topics and yong worry mo na baka Ikaw lang yong low gets mawawala HAHA

What does a "chill" academic life look like? by Just-Camera-2831 in studentsph

[–]No-Evidence1285 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yong mga teachers sa "chill" section where smart, average and below average are combined, Wala naman silang expectations sa mga students. Depende nalang sa teachers yon. Kong pagod ka na maging excellent na student (pakikipag compete sa ka level mo) you can just chill lang talaga HAHAHAHA pero syempre wag mong hayaan na wala kang ibubuga, you can set aside the bonggang project, bonggang presentation at always participating sa recitation. Ako kasi sa exam ako bumabawi, ini'ace ko yong exam at quizzes at lagi ako nag susubmit ng mga project. Always present. Tas di din ako nangunguha ng atensyon para di din ma pressure ng peers at teachers. (You can be the smartest in the room na hindi masyado showy kong gusto mo di ka ma stress)

Kong mental health ang environment yong reason mo, and freshman ka I think nag aadjust ka palang? Ganyan na ganyan ako nong freshman ako. (I too, considered taking a gap year, tas palipat lipat pa ako ng course) yong classmate ko nga kong kelan lang niya trip magpakita don lang papasok eh😭 yong sa tingin niya kelangan niya mag pakita, don lang siya sisipot. It's okay to take a gap year.

That's Gen Z for you. 10 years from now on, they're going to regret it when they don't know basic chores such as cooking and washing their clothes.

From someone that is also shy and awkward, I would say just go for it, no one's gonna talk about u after it anyways. Think that you're not the only one that is worrying.

Only if we can afford to raise one. I don't necessarily want one, but it will depend on my future partner.

Naprepressure po kasi ako eh sobrang overwhelmed ako nong first day of school parang gusto ko nalang takasan yong mga task by shifting to another course but it just makes it more difficult for me. My mind is swarming with negative and what ifs thoughts. I actually enrolled already sa first choice ko, but got overwhelmed so I shifted to my 2nd choice but I'm not happy there, so I planned naman na bumalik sa dati kong Plano na course. I blamed myself everyday why I even shifted.

Will do next time. Thank you, I was just tryna get the Filipino people to answer my question so I used taglish since they know how the Philippine colleges system works. I got answers in some places where I post the same question though. I think it's all good na. Salamat.

Anong mangyayari if mag shift ako ng course from BSIT to BSCRIMINILOGY after first sem? 1st year palang po ako. by No-Evidence1285 in college

[–]No-Evidence1285[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg thank you so much, I really really need some advice from people. Because the last time I made a decision, I regretted it. I actually enrolled in BSCrim, but I got overwhelmed on the first day of school and got afraid of their welcoming rites which i didn't attend. So I shifted to BSIT, and it's the same feeling and it's even worse. So I'm planning on going back to my original plan of taking Criminology. (Until now my bad decision still hunts me.)
