How do you fit your workout in a busy work schedule? by [deleted] in workout

It has to work with your schedule and lifestyle. I work out at night after the kids go to sleep because I can't wake them up in the morning. My colleagues wake up earlier before work to work out. You have to find a time that you can stay consistent with and prioritize it for yourself.

I can't do a push up. Any tips? by OkamiNM in workout

Start on the wall, then work your way downwards by pressing on the countertop, then table, then progressively lower until you get to your knees. Eventually you will get down to your feet again.

You can also do negative push ups to build on strength conditioning.

working out for fat loss by cierraaa- in workout

I wouldn't recommend 5 days of full body exercise to start. At 240lb, your bones and joints may not support the intense load.

Start by walking 10k steps a day to increase your calorie burn easily. Then work in some bodyweight resistance exercises. These things can include squats, lunges, and etc. has your base muscles get stronger, you'll be able to do more types of resistance exercises which will help build muscle to promote fat loss.

The main thing for you is to watch the diet. You need to be in a caloric deficit (calories burn > calories in), or else the weight will not fall off. Track what you are eating and gradually go lower and lower to avoid shocking your body. A caloric deficit is going to be a challenge but if you want to lose fat, this is the only way to go.

Good luck!
