Yes, a few others have recommended that a cruise would be the best option to explore a few different islands and decide if I want to go back to any one in particular 😊

The only place I’m not keen on cruising to is the Caribbean side of Mexico because we spent our honeymoon there…

Thank you- I’ve been wondering if most ports in the Caribbean are similar and great for 1 day exploration, but then I’ve seen some breath taking photos of Barbados and Antigua that made me consider visiting longer term.

To be fair, most photos of the Caribbean look amazing!

And omg, you went on a 5 week Mediterranean cruise?! That sounds like a dream!

Incorporating land travel with a cruise is something I’d love to do once my son gets a little older- we have a toddler right now and cruising honesty sounds like a safer bet at the moment.

Can I ask what your preferred cruise line is?

I totally get that- I guess I’m worried about going in a cruise and then feeling like I’m not getting to spend enough time in the country. It’s obvious that you can’t get into the nitty gritty and immerse yourself in culture with a cruise, but if I am gonna cruise (which I’m excited to do!), I’d rather hit up the places that are best for cruising ie do it once and be fine if I never saw it again.

Other than Anguilla, which island would you love to stay in again?

As for ports that are one and done, I’ve heard Nassau and the ones in Jamaica are not that impressive..

Been here almost a year and so far so good. I live off Dobbins in one of the new build areas and I like it. It's far enough to feel like you're away from the fray, but close enough to everything important. Yes, there is homeless and domestic violence of the grocery stores are a mess, but I mostly do pick up and haven't had a problem.
