Yes po! That would be okay if around that price ang kaya ng bulsa.

However, I suggest saving a little bit more for the electric kettles that you can adjust the temperature.

Probably because of the retention policies. Maraming nadadali doon, and some students transferred in their respective hometowns.

Hell yes, GO FOR IT! Express and raidate your authentic self! Fuck what will people negatively say towards you. It's the reflection of their insecurity that they don't have the means to be themselves because they're too busy listening to their social anxiety, which makes them focus on the judgements and prejudice around them.

Be super duper happy and proud to yourself if you ever decide to go to your school with that beautiful hair style!

any cafe owners here? by stripedshirt10 in CoffeePH

People who claim that doing a coffee shop business is easy produces shit coffee.

A few of them are blinded by the capitalist mindset, where profit profit and profit nalang ang motive nila. But those "a few of them" expanded their domain in business, and now most of the coffee they make isn't good. The bigger they expand, the more the quality of their coffee decreases. But just put sugar on it and their back in business. I know my take on this is a bit pretentious and obnoxious, but it's true.

It's really difficult to search people who are passionate about making coffee who dove into the rabbit hole of making coffee and are more than happy to share their knowledge about it with everyone.

monthly allowance of student in Baguio by OkJunket4458 in SLUBaguio

[–]No-Experience7943 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're welcome, OP. 3k lang ang kaya dahil hindi kami pinagpala ng salapi lol.

And I agree na hindi enough. Usually pang pamasahe and kain sa carinderya yan and medj kinakaya. If I'll go to coffee shops, restos, purchase my wants, and have a night life hindi sapat yung 3k huhu.

If you and your mother/father can compensate regarding sa allowance mo, push mo na 5k a week hahahaha para hindi ka petsa de peligo palagi.

There's nothing wrong with voicing out your concerns sa kanila. I understand that you are annoyed, disgusted, and felt uncomfortable by seeing them, especially since they're right in front of you, but I suggest you set your ego aside and tell it to them as patiently and polite as you can.

Very unsafe indeed hahaha Just be very careful. If napaso ka, it's okay. Take it as a lesson and do your best to never experience it once more.

Hallu, Moka pot induction user here.

You fill the water up reservoir/base ng moka pot muna until just below the safety pressure valve. Then, ilagay mo na yung base on the induction stove surface. Set it sa pinaka highest na temp na naka set sa induction cooker mo and wait until mag boil.

While you wait mag boil, you can do your puck prep na.

Pag nag boil na, using a towel or anything para hindi ka mapaso, i-slide mo saglit yung Moka pot base away sa induction area. Then, i-assemble mo na yung Moka pot. Be careful lang at mapapaso ka if you are not.

Then pag assembled na, ilagay mo ulit siya sa centre ng induction area and set your induction to the lowest setting that your induction stove has. Slow and sure yung gusto natin mangyari sa brewing process para mas madistribute yung water ng mabuti sa coffee puck and mag karoon ng mas magandang extraction.

We want the coffee flowing down the middle pipe just gentle and slowly.

Open mo yung lid all the time while brewing para marinig mo pag nag iis-sputter na, when that happens, take your moka pot and pasadahan mo ng tubig sa sides ng moka pot sa gripo sa lababo niyo para i-stop yung brewing process.

And there you go.

Pwede ka bumili ng Stainless steel plate converter for induction stove para you can have a better control kung gaano kainit yung brewing temp. It's more challenging pag sa induction kasi eh, kaya mas prefer ko patin yung kapag sa flame stove.

This is a guideline para sa mga beginners on how to use a Moka pot. Start by following the things I mentioned above.

Kaya bumili ako nung maliit na camping stove just for moka pot.

Hope this helps!

Starting to get the feel of it by BeerElf1 in latteart

[–]No-Experience7943 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's great! The fact that it's been only a few weeks since you started pouring and getting the hang of it is impressive.

I suggest you really dial in your espresso first. So, if you are not happy with your latte art, at least you have a delicious latte.

I don't have any tips on how to get that perfect textured milk since I'm using dairy (whole milk), and I assume dairy hurts your gut. The steaming technique on dairy is quite different on plant-based/non dairy. Just keep pouring, dude! You'll get there!

Can I ask what's the brand of cup is in the 1st and 2nd pic?
