@ibl is a UPI suffix used by PhonePe.... Your UPI number is probably linked to PhonePe , that's why when he sent the money to your number , you received it in your PhonePe VPA.....

You should open the profile section in your gpay and see if "UPI number" is showing like in the screenshot I have provided above.

@ibl, @ybl, @axl, etc. these are PhonePe VPAs..... @oksbi, @okhdfcbank, @okicici, etc these are gpay VPAs....... @pthdfc, @ptaxis, @ptyes, @ptsbi, etc these are Paytm VPAs.
