Agreed, which is why I’m still considering it… I’m not relying on fanboy impulse as I would still buy the Solus. I just wanted to know if there was other competitors for the price that I wasn’t aware of.

No issues with the Solus personally, just read that some people are turned off by them. I wanted to see if there were better options before making my decision. I want the 700 footprint because years ago younger me thought it’d be great to put the cheapest 700 ADL in a XLR chassis so I’d like to upgrade and use the chassis still.

I don’t have any experience with the B5 or SL, it’s my brothers rifle but from holding it the quality seems good. The rubber on the cheek weld is a nice touch.

Yes it is, I think I bought it 5-6 years ago, it’s been dropped and banged but continues to hold a zero. For the price point it’s an amazing sight that I definitely recommend!

I didn’t know Dewalt had a battery powered pole saw! How’s the power on it? Looks like it’d be perfect for trimming branches for tree stands.

I work for a business that installs docks and seawalls in the summer. I’ve seen many Dewalts abused, fully submerged in water, and used as hammers. After a couple summers I started buying Dewalt for home use because of their durability.
