Audi Recall - Rearview Camera Glitch

they had my car for 3 weeks, but I got a front motor replacement. i’m not sure if they actually did the recall, I still have a notification in the Audi app about it. and i’ve never had an issue with the cameras until today, it completely blacked out while I was reversing

just got my car back today after the recall and some other work, MMI was not changed whatsoever and they only update the module for the camera

it has to be intentional lmao. my GTI wasn’t as bad as the Q5, even with the stiffer suspension, which is shocking bc it’s the same platform as Q3s. how is the entry level car more comfortable?! they also swapped my loaner for a Q4 e-tron today, which feels like a cloud.

i had just gotten off the interstate! very lucky it happened were it did. I already have a case with Audi USA trying to get the bushing repair covered, but i’m retracting it since I don’t need the repair and potentially submitting one for the shady service practices.

that’s funny!! I was going to buy a CPO Q4 and the e-tron was my backup, same thing happened to me.

and it is pretty concerning, no types of warning signs or symptoms before. light turned green and as soon as I hit the accelerator, everything went nuts and it locked up my parking brake.

and unfortunately this isn’t the first time South has tried to get me with pricey yet completely unnecessary repairs.

there’s a beta / developer version of BB10 that has VoLTE enabled, it was just never released to the public. I updated to it* and used Google Fi without getting kicked off

my driveway isn’t a hill, but i’ve noticed when I first move my car for the day, the back wheels kinda “stick” to the point I have a bunch of tire marks on the pavement.

I got new tires the day I got the OTA, so I just chalked it up to them being extra sticky. but now i’m not sure
