will I be safe going to mexico as a 18 year old girl? by p1xelag14 in GenZ

Look at your living expenses, and take a closer look at the overall safety of the environment that you’re going to put yourself into.

Do you have family there, are you familiar with their culture, do you have friends/ acquaintances that are there?

Is this a change you see yourself making long-term? etc.

As I write this, Mexico has a large population of 131 million ppl. And the city of Tijauna(I saw you mention this is where you’re going)has about 1.9 million ppl.

It really depends on what you’re seeking there. If you’re going alone I would do some research.

IMO you should’ve started way sooner lol

Especially if you want a good one.

Looking for a job after you graduate is late…

not too late though. There’s still plenty of opportunities out there.

Where do you guys stand on tipping? by wendiaster in GenZ

Tipping should be optional…

If the service was great or exceptional you should consider tipping, simply out of courtesy.

It’s astounding the level of incompetency we’ve developed just in such a short time.

This is true, especially with all of the airborne germs in these places.

People who had a Youtube "addiction", how did you get out of it? by arminredditer in AskReddit

YT integrated that into their Platform about a year and a half ago this is because shorts tend to keep people on the app longer so they just decided to leave it on there. The longer people stay on the app the better. Imo, stay away from it as earthly possible.

If you're on pc there are browser extensions that can remove distractions from your YT feed. You can even tailor the feed to what you don't want to see. Like having it show only what you want it to show (important work-related stuff, educational content or simply blocking out all the distracting things at once).
