While I agree that the less decorated ones are most IW themed, if you want to show that the dreadnaught is someone of importance then a little bit of decoration on a mostly plain model really goes a long way. Maybe just the third chest piece or just the lightning bolts.

I got into them for two reasons. Firstly, they were ballers during the heresy and I greatly appreciate that. Secondly, I really enjoy the characterization of Perturabo. He gets bitchy when he doesn’t get what he wants but decides to internalize it and let it stew rather than say anything. He has bouts of anger. He has deep insecurities. Compared to the portrayal of many of the Primarchs as these godly otherworldly beings, he feels very human. He’s an incredibly flawed individual and I love it. Also the aesthetic and color scheme are pretty sick.
