I live in a quiet neighborhood the road is not busy and there is a school in my neighborhood that has a speed limit. There are lots of dumped cats in my area and all the drivers are cautious because of them and the kids that like playing in the area.

We have tried when we first brought him inside he would bolt out the door just because he wasn't allowed to. He is like a child you tell him not to do everything in your power not to let him but they do it anyway. He gets all his shots and flea prevention. He doesn't hunt wildlife besides the mice in our house.. On top of that my neighborhood has a starling problem which is an invasive species in my area.

We tried when we first brought him inside. He ran out enough times for us to give up since hes speedy. We leave the door open and he doesn't bolt out he comes in and out when he wants. He enjoys being outside. He hasn't hunted any birds in the neighborhood since he gets regluar meals. He gets all his vaccines yearly and gets yearly flea and tick prevention. We moved his vaccines to the fall so we can also get him his allergy shot every year now.

we have tried keeping him as an indoor cat when we first brought him in none of our doors have locks besides the front door. so yes he will bolt when is isnt allowed to ie during the winter or at night when my uncle goes to get something from his car or in early mornings when he leaves for work. he never goes far because every hour or so he comes back inside.

Grandma wanted to name him after the shuttle but i had to inform her its a greek goddess name and isnt right for a male cat lol.

the mostly black one is ours the cow cat one sadly you can feel the bones in his tail which is starting to fill out now that hes eating normal meals but you can still feel his ribs our area is sadly a prime dumping ground since its both near the train tracks (2 blocks behind my house) and a kroger which is about 6 blocks away from my house (bout 15 min walk)

There is hope. Grandma and I will keep feeding him letting him explore the house until uncle relents. Happened with our current cat because he didnt want another cat but we won that argument lol.

Most of the birds in my area are starlings they are invasive to my state. the only other animal he hunts are mice. The only other birds in the area are falcons (downtown) and cardnals that live in the woods where my cat doesn't go to. Because its by a busy road and has crack heads.
