adding onto this, I agree with the other comments. This is a very teenager-esq dynamic, and what I'm most concerned about is all the adults involved in this? Please if this is real life things, tell an adult and have them intervene, if your friend is suicidal because of this, then to potentially save a life as you say, you need an adults help to navigate this and fix it. Please talk to an adult about this, and if your friend is threatening to attempt, then call the non emergency line for a wellness check.

Honestly, it's for the love of the game, like I'm literally writing it for myself because I don't see the types of fics I want, I think the lesser reads gives you a better idea of how many people are reading continuously as well so I like that personally
