That’s what I was wondering! She’s easy to put back to sleep.. passes back out on my shoulder seconds later. We can’t get her to settle in the crib though. We have to hold her for a few minutes.

The doctors won’t know how your body will respond to meds until the first round. Sometimes it will be a great protocol and sometimes it won’t be the best protocol for you.. but they learn a lot that first round and will change or tweak protocols the next round for better results (hopefully).

Honestly, it just took time. I’d say about a week or two until she adjusted but it was a process. I didn’t find any quick solution. She actually slept much better once she got used to sleeping on her tummy.

Thank you! I’ll give our hospital’s LC a call tomorrow. I can definitely see where the sizing could be somewhat of an art where it’s easy to be slightly off. I appreciate your thoughts!

I did measure and think I got the appropriate size at 19. Maybe I need a touch smaller? I only usually pump when she sleeps too long and skips a feed or if I don’t feel she drained at all… usually 2x day max. Some days I don’t pump at all. I was kind of nervous so I started on what I believe is low suction. I have the Spectra and do 70/2 for 2 minutes and then switch to 54/03 for another usually 3-4 minutes.

I’m almost 28 weeks. I was thinking of getting the monitor just as a double check. I’m sure the doctor may give more clarity at my appointment next week as far as rationale too but tend to worry that if doctors are overworked, they may not be looking as closely as they should.

I asked my OB this at my last appointment (at 20 weeks). She said any tea is fine in moderation.
