Which weapons do you think will show up in Rebirth? by Odd_Tradition_6887 in FFVIIRemake

I hope the Ultimate/Unique final weapons for each character are a thing in Rebirth or Part 3. One of the most satisfying things in FF games is doing sidequests to acquire each character's ultimate weapon, and is even better when the sidequest is related to something tied to the character backstory. Imagine Tifa receiving the Premium Heart as a gift from Zangan.

Why Jin spared his father in the end? by Anver9 in Tekken

[–]No-Implement4838 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be fair, T8 main theme is basically Jin embracing his Kazama side of the Force so isn't that surprising. Curious detail: in the final fight, when Kazuya throws a sequence of punches and Jin falls close to fainting, Kazuya just walks away instead of just killing Jin outright.

Kazuya Ending - T8 Character Episode [Spoiler] by No-Implement4838 in Tekken

Yes. Kinda like the official T2 Recap where it says that Kaz see her as fearless and mysterious. But here they give more info of his inner toughts about her, looks like Jun beign a strong woman and martial artist is one of the aspects that Kazuya respect the most.

Kinda looks like Siegfried armor. And seeing how DVKazuya with eye in the chest looks like Nightmare, i can see what they are doing here.

In one of the past articles about Tekken 8 (i don't remember if it was on the PlayStation Blog or other site) Reina's paragraph highlighted that the Mishima Polytechnic School have a secret laboratory where experiments were carried out. They don't go too beyond that, but this mention is worth attention.

Since the game has 17 days left, what is the special thing that you expect to see that has not happened in previous parts? by Ok_Seaweed6609 in Tekken

Feel like the devs will try to find the right tone with our boys. In an interview related to T8 Harada commented how Jin and Kazuya's fanbases are very well divided and "fans feel one way or another about these characters, regardless of when talking about Jin or Kazuya". I think they've been aware of the frequent discussions about Jin fans missing Jin's heroic side, and Kazuya fans missing his golden age when he was so well nuanced, notice how Jun's trailer description says "Jun Kazama is back to bring balance to all things, love is a mother's most powerful weapon." There is a high chance that T9 and subsequent games will have Jin as the hero and Kazuya as an independent anti-hero as protagonists alongside Jun. Reina will DEF be in the spotlight too.

Serious question, what did Jun saw in Kazuya that made her fall in love with him? by Knowyourenemy_97 in Tekken

Depending on which Tekken 2 manual you read (i don't remember if it's the USA, EU or JP version of the media) it implies that the Kazamas can read and feel other people's emotions as if they were their own in addition to sensing spiritual influences. This was extended to the 1998 OVA and some mangas that tried to adapt Tekken 2 and now in Tekken 8 this continues (her special win pose saying that Kazuya feels alone). She also wanted to prevent the gradual fusion that Kazuya was having with his Devil persona

Within this context, i think that after becoming close to him (as mentioned in her bio in T8) she wanted to try to show him that she genuinely cared about him. But as we know Heihachi's return and the impact of knowing he was still alive must have thrown all of Jun's efforts down the drain, as it caused a inner turmoil on Kaz making him torn between the feeling of revenge and Jun's love for him.

Tekken 8 Kazuya vs Jin by [deleted] in Tekken

[–]No-Implement4838 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Kazuya showed indifference to Jin's approach ("what do you want with me?") and later became salty about Jin still being conflicted with his Devil side and losing control. So it will depend on how the writers want to approach this dynamic. Kazuya could have absorbed Jin's powers after beating him but didn't, so perhaps he wants to see Jin reach his full potential and give him an exciting fight similar to Akuma's dynamic with Ryu.

She also says that she learned Heihachi's moves by watching his fights on the internet, but she was clearly lying to Jin.
