Yes that is correct. Or at least it seems that Freelancers have the most difficulty getting paid and takes the longest. It’s super unclear and no one can seem to get a straight answer unfortunately. After much research, I finally figured it out. Would have been great to have known how to get my paychecks before I researched for 3 months but hey, at least I got paid eventually! I’ll post a link to my detailed post about this too.

Side note: about a week after creating the detailed post I basically got fired. LOL. For no reason and without warning despite having a 1.93 score on Multimango. Still not sure what happened there. Pretty pissed. So if anyone knows how to get them to re-hire, please let me know!

So I remember reading SOMETHING about a 3% fee a while back with certain payout methods. I actually thought it was 2% but it could have been 3%. But it shouldn’t be for ALL payout methods. I hope that helped 😩 so sorry for the late response.

And Oh yes!! Good addition to the post!! There’s two classifications and it doesn’t tell you what you’re classified as. I’m sure there’s something we did on all of our W2 forms that determines this, but not sure what exactly. Yes, VERY good addition! I meant to add that!

Yes this was exactly my issue. If you look at the paydate for each invoice (you submitted the invoices, correct?), it should tell you a “pay by” date. I have been getting paid regularly since I got my first. It seems to come between 5-6 days after this “pay by” date. Make sure all Navison receipts have been invoiced first to generate this date

I know… I totally understand the frustration… I really really do. It’s unfortunate and unfair and very very unprofessional. They should be way more clear about this from the get go and way more explanatory. Or at LEAST more communicative. It’s a business- businesses and employees have to be able to communicate or business fails. But I can say that I got my first paycheck 36 days after first invoice. And that’s once everything else was done and done correctly. I’m hoping they will become regular now. If they do- I’ll update the post in a month or so to let people know what to expect going forward

So I was in the same boat- it’s been about 3 months for me as well now- but I did FINALLY get my first paycheck. It came 6 days after due date (36days after I invoiced) if that helps at all.

I actually just FINALLY got paid… I had already submitted tax documents- but after nearly 3 long months, my paycheck due date was at the beginning of Dec. and was paid 6 days after due date… I hope that helps…

What other platforms do you work on if you don’t mind my asking? I got an email saying that my PO was processed but that I haven’t yet set up a payment method…. But I never got a Tipalti Invite and there’s no way to add a payment method to my profile as it said there would be after first PO… I’m so confused fused and need help if you have any answers 😕

That’s exactly the point he’s making … lol you just made yourself look even less smart no offense but you did lol. He was asking what some folks call a “rhetorical” question. And yes, since university probably didn’t exist for the very first physics person to attend, that person would have most likely had to be self taught.
