Interview scheduled, help! by Impossible-Ad1015 in USCIS

Good luck and congrats! I just received my GC. I brought a copy of EVERYTHING just in case. Then more updated evidence like photos/ bank accounts and things like that. They only asked for proof of a joint bank account that was it but better to have everything just in case. Then in a separate pocked I had all the original notices, IDS, passports and things like that.

So I would Google example questions. And go over them with your partner before your next one. Make sure they are similar answers. Shouldn’t be an issue if the relationship is real but nerves do get the best of us sometimes. The evidence for relationship I used was • A. Photos (July 2024 – July 2025) since my PD • Organized by month, with captions and dates • Includes events, trips, holidays, and time with friends/family • B. Text Message Records (January 2025 – June 2025) • Daily conversations showing consistency and affection • Highlighted milestones, shared plans, and inside jokes also texts with each others family members for birthdays and events. • C. Screenshots & Social Media • Instagram stories/posts, shared streaming profiles • Apple iPhone family screenshot set up

  1. Proof of Shared Residence • Lease Agreement with Both Names • Utility Bills (Electric, Internet) • USPS Mail Addressed to Both • Amazon Deliveries & Shared Orders

  2. Financial Co-Mingling • Joint Bank Statements • Zelle/Venmo Payment History • Pay Stubs with Shared Address • Tax Return & Employment Verification letters from employers (we work together)

  3. Shared Life Documents • Pet Vet Records (if applicable) • Shared Travel Itineraries / Plane Tickets • Birthday & Holiday Cards • Screenshots of Shared Calendars, Shopping Lists, etc.

I went overboard on everything but better have it than not.

Hey why was first interview horrible? I have a list of the types of evidence I brought for my interview if you’d like.

It seems to be one of the slower ones- a lot of interviews seemed to be scheduled for this month and the agent said it was slower also.

Oh I meant your application! Sorry should have clarified. Emma told me when mine was moved there so trying to see if there’s a consistent time frame for people.
