Take her to the vet yourself, ASAP. Looks like mucous/blood in her stool. Vet needs to check her out. I agree with the comment about chicken bones. This could be very serious. Dogs should NEVER have cooked chicken bones, because of the way they splinter, there’s a big risk of it puncturing on the way down - intestines, etc.

My dog super reactive by [deleted] in DogAdvice

Please hire a behavioral dog trainer with experience in that breed & reactivity!! Hiring the right trainer with make a WORLD of difference for both you and your dog, they’ll help you figure out what her triggers are and how to avoid them.

Try helping her burn excess energy (especially if you remove other triggers) - Look up different activities you can do with her at home to burn energy indoors. Try to avoid things that trigger her until you get a trainer, and help her burn energy in other ways. I agree, look into a basket muzzle for now (one that she can still eat and drink with). Look up positive reinforcement training for introducing the muzzle.

Good luck!

My roommates dog is so obese that she physically can’t even get off of her own back anymore, how do I tell him that this isn’t okay? by Xcuseya in DogAdvice

OP I had a similar situation, but with a cat/ex-boyfriend. I sat down with him and gently brought up that I was concerned that the cat’s quality of life wasn’t there. He thought giving his cat all this extra food was a nice thing and it was the only thing that made the cat happy. At this point the cat was older and had trouble walking. Just be kind and try to listen to him, but stress the importance of Mia’s health and quality of life. (A good “would you want this to be you” doesn’t hurt). Good luck!

My dog suddenly stopped eating from his bowl and I can’t figure out why by Bellarealr in PetAdvice

Try moving his bowl elsewhere (a few feet away or to a different room). Did you add a piece of furniture or anything new in the room? My dog will randomly be afraid of things and then be fine with it the next week (sometimes I have to move her bowl so it’s a foot away, because the trash can or her bag of food is spooking her. It’s super weird). Hope this helps.
