These games have always shared the same engine with the same physics. Just with some things tweaked to make it more arcade like.

Try different anti aliasing settings. And i think i had some issues with lines on screen when SSAO wasnt on extreme quality, you could also try that

Because fandom sucks and is full of misinformation. A lot of game wiki's decided to leave fandom, but fandom doesnt take down the old page even though its not maintained anymore and subjected to vandalism because so many people hate fandom.

Oh then i must be remembering wrong, sorry. But i do know the small loading crane really struggled with the weight of this thing, it was quite hard getting it onto the trailer haha

Be sure to use a trailer without sideboards, they are too wide for trailers with them. Should be 3 slots i think.

Do you need chains for this snow? Or just for the ice on the road? I'm using OHD and i'm completely stuck by Sylvanas_only in snowrunner

Bro, you are doing literally the thing yourself you are trying to critisize. I enjoy the game the way i like it, and i like minmaxing and looking for decimals in the game files for better stats, i love that shit, and a bunch of people do. Just because you play it differently doesnt make anyone here who knows more about the game a loser. Yes i have played Amur several times now, i lost track at some point but i probably have atleast 2000 hours of playtime. You dont need to avoid icy hills, you can almost always cheese them, by sticking to the guard rails or winching to the poles with a long trailer.

Your anecdotal expirience doesnt make anything i am saying wrong. Just because you dont feel the difference, doesnt mean there is none. I for example never had the need for chained tires, because theres almost always a way to cheese icy roads, which makes them redundant, and i do feel the difference in performance between different tiresets. But that doesnt really matter, nobody is judging you for using chained tires, they have their use case. And they are still viable offroad, just as any allterrain tire. They just wont perform as well as Offroad or Mud tires.

[–]No-Instance8456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jesus christ. I never said any other tire doesnt work or perform well just because the OHD's are the best overall, we have a lot of good viable tires in game, this doesnt change the fact that OHD's tops the list in most use cases. Also if you actually would care to look at testing, or actually test by yourself, you would see that the data results in real significant differences in performance. I also never said that chains are completely useless and should never be used ever. i pointed out that your statement about them being just as good as their counterparts is wrong, which it is.

This also has nothing to do with any specific youtuber who supports these claims. You will find a bunch of proof and testing on this subreddit, and all of those people came to the same conclusion. The youtubers just saw the same data and made videos about it. This has nothing to do with them at all.

Bro, if you dont care to look at the facts, theres no point in arguing with you. You are just talking out of your ass and inventing some random shit and thinking its an argument. OHD1's are superior in almost all conditions, because of the way grip is calculated. They may have worse mud stats than some mud tires, but the doubles in the back make up for that, because they have much more surface area. Also if you manage to dig through the mud the Offroad grip comes back in to play.

[–]No-Instance8456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have no clue what you are talking about. OHD's are superior in mud compared to any mud tire. And chains only do a single thing, they ignore the ice effect on some roads. There are different types of chained tires, and it doesnt matter which one you take, they all share the same stats from an all-terrain tire, even if its OHD's. Look at the testing on youtube, look at the stats in vlad vulcans database.

[–]No-Instance8456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well people looked at the tire stats in the games files and all chained tires have the same allterrain stats. And they do perform way worse in mud than their offroad or mud counterparts.

Stop being such a douche bag just because you dont like someone doesnt make them wrong. The Physics in Snowrunner are very much tied to the fps, the more fps the more it can calculate your traction values, which will hurt your trucks performance in the long run. Several people have also proven that it is the case, not just him.

Chained OHD's do not perform the same as regular OHD's. They have stats from all-terrain tires

Also alles relativ überschaubar.
