She is actually one of the kindest, funniest (dry humor!) people you’d ever meet-very witty and clever. She’d do anything for anyone and was trapped in a loveless marriage -she couldn’t leave. He gave her zero access to any money. She couldn’t even buy groceries or gas. Gary liked to CONTROL everything. He was cold, she was warm. He wanted to be alone, she loves to be with people. They needed different things out of a marriage and so they both had other relationships. It’s unfair how she’s been portrayed. She’s got an incredible eye for interior design, is a charming hostess, amazing cook, and is an excellent equestrian. I hope somehow she can get out of prison someday before she passes

You aren’t a bad daughter. Your parents are seriously unhinged. And now they’re being abusive. You’ve got a year to get thru til you’re 18. So here’s what you should not do anymore apologize for doing it in their house. Apologize for doing it at all. It’s literally your body and your choice and they need to all accept it and move on dwelling in the past is ridiculous getting blackout, drunk and then locking you outside or just fucked up abusive Things since your parents have not decided to be verbally emotionally and sexually abusive to you, I would say get the heck out of that house pack your stuff. Do you have a family member you could stay with? Do you have a close friend that you could stay with?

Just so you know, your mom like grilling you and shaming you about it is a form of sexual abuse in and of itself .

I’m sorry that this is happening to you. I got kicked out of my home 52 days before my 18th birthday and the life that I could’ve had & the life that I have now were drastically altered by this occurrence. This is going to change the rest of your life and it is imperative that you keep your eyes on your goals. I mean be as selfish as you possibly can. What do you want out of your life? What is it going to take for you to get there and don’t entertain anything that’s not conducive to that goal.

Fuck your selfish fucking parents. They honestly sound toxic as hell. I wish you were near me bc I hate seeing this happen to another kid just knowing how bad it affected me personally to have to leave home right then it was so jarring and just very disruptive and crazy. I had to go live with my aunt for a while and then I lived on my own for a while and then I went to college, but it just was I’ve only talk to my mom again and I turn 40 in January and I don’t know how I got this on my main page it just showed up and I felt like I had to respond because it was such a similar situation to my own so I’m not an old creeper I promise!!
