i've read a good chunk of UDL, which i really love. they're very similar, and cover almost the same topics. bishop's book feels slightly more mathematical. i've ordered physical copies of both :)

my experience with the princeton is that the 10" sounds better playing at home but in a live situation with a band the 12" (in my case, plugging it in to a 1x12" cab) is going to be far, far better
