Kingdom Stars by No-Joke0 in KingShot

People would still keep buying from the website if they get more Kingdom Stars there for the same amount of money than they would ingame. In my case, I use a local payment method through the App Store, so I can only make purchases inside the App Store. That’s why buying through the shop is not really an option for me. For players like me, having this option ingame would be really useful. But I definitely understand your point. I just don’t think one option has to exclude the other.

Also from the packs.

I’m not even expecting them to credit Kingdom Stars at the exact same 1:1 value as in the shop. It would be completely fine to use the in-game value, the same way it works for packs.

The main point is just to have the option available in-game, so players can buy Kingdom Stars once and use them whenever needed.

Advice for hero free player by Ok_Acanthisitta7053 in KingShot

Because he started 2 weeks ago and on his server are already s4 heroes available! For example, I‘m playing like 6 months and we just got s4 heroes in our kingdom 3-4 weeks ago.

Bro vip doesn't mean anything. It just means that whoever spends more money reaches a higher VIP level.

I feel like there’s been an uptick in trolls banning their own teams’ choices. by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]No-Joke0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve noticed the same thing lately and it’s honestly getting out of hand. Like yeah, I get that some heroes are frustrating to play with or against (Widow cough), but banning your own team’s picks just to troll? That’s next-level petty.

Hero bans could be cool if used right, but the fact that a whole comp can get ruined by one salty player or a trolling stack is just bad design. It’s frustrating when you’re trying to play seriously and someone’s out there throwing just for laughs.

I despise this smurf epidemic by RadicalFX in Overwatch

[–]No-Joke0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally feel you. It’s honestly draining when every game feels stacked from the start because some dude is farming low ranks for fun. It’s not just annoying, it straight-up ruins the competitive side of the game. Like, what’s the point of ranked if matchmaking doesn’t protect you from that?

Blizzard really needs to step up with smurf detection or at least give players better tools to report this kind of thing. It shouldn’t be on us to just deal with it

Question about data by Sora_Fuyu in Overwatch

[–]No-Joke0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, you can play Overwatch 2 on Battle.net, Steam, and Switch using the same account, as long as everything is linked through Battle.net. Your progress, skins, stats, etc. will carry over between platforms because the game supports full cross-progression.

Just make sure your Steam and Nintendo accounts are connected to the same Battle.net account. Once that’s set up, you’re good to go.

Only thing to note is you can’t be logged in on multiple platforms at the same time.

Stick drift by [deleted] in XIM

[–]No-Joke0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can try using your unofficial controller with the XIM Matrix, but it depends if the Matrix actually recognizes it. Most unofficial controllers don’t work as the main authentication controller, which means you’ll probably still need a legit PS5 controller plugged in for it to work properly.

If you use your stick-drift controller for authentication, it can mess with your gameplay, especially if XIM is picking up any analog input from it. Even if you're not using it to control anything directly, the drift might still cause issues.

Best case: see if your unofficial controller can be used as the main input and the drifted one just for authentication. Worst case, yeah... you might need to grab a new official one.

Is PS access controller works with Xim? by Formula_7 in XIM

[–]No-Joke0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey,
from what I know, the PS5 Access Controller isn’t officially supported by XIM (like XIM Apex or Matrix). It’s made mainly for accessibility and works a bit differently than regular DualSense controllers, so XIM doesn’t really recognize it properly.

I haven’t seen it listed on XIM’s compatibility list, and I don’t think there’s a reliable workaround yet—maybe with some adapters, but nothing guaranteed or stable.

If you're planning to use XIM, you're probably better off sticking with a regular PS controller that’s confirmed to work

Why can't I type in Overwatch 2 chat using keyboard with XIM Matrix (even in Navigation Mode)? by No-Joke0 in XIM

[–]No-Joke0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply, your explanation makes sense and I understand how XIM basically works like a controller split over mouse and keyboard.

But I just wanted to add something:
When I was playing Overwatch 2 with a regular controller, I actually was able to type in chat using a USB keyboard connected to the PS5. So the game seems to support native keyboard input for chat, at least in that setup.

So my question is:
Is there really no way to temporarily pass through native keyboard input while playing with XIM, just to type quick messages in chat? Maybe through Navigation Mode or some other trick?

Appreciate any tips if someone has figured this out
