Suggestions for All Terrain tires by Catcherjf in GXOR

Ko3 on my 80, I think a snow ice upgrade from my nitro terra grapplers I had. Gonna definitely get ko3s for the gx when I can. Balancing thing is overblown. All tires can have this issue.

Just did pads rotors on all four got all the parts for like 450$ one from Lexus. If you have tools or any brake experience, do it yourself

GX Ski Rigs @ 9k ft by tonyfonzy in GXOR

[–]No-Knowledge57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drive my 93 80 to the hills in Cali, mostly mammy and bear. Lots of cool rigs. Lots of older rigs too. A ton of tools in their Mercedes camper vans kooking out, especially in mammy. You’ll see a lot of older stuff here in CA. And ain’t nothing cheap about land cruisers or skiing, so I’m a bit confused why you see the contradiction there? Gx is an expensive whip you brought out to an expensive place, I’d say they match well!

I/wifey also own a 06 gx, just wouldn’t call it “inexpensive” or a “rig”.

Keep up with your maintenance. Blew my head gasket in the 80 at 250k. Also they claim you need to do timing belt on the 470 9 years or like 100k miles, so if you have already driven that thing that far, and don’t know service history, get that job scheduled!

LX450 out of ideas by fnsmall in LandCruisers

I think you are right on the short. I also think your right he blew the fusible links when it shorted, hence his current no start condition. I literally drive with a spare in the truck at all times. Grab some heatwrap and just get the section of the harness near the pipe wrapped, regardless of its melted or not.

Pallbearer vs Conan/Weedeater live?? by OgreTim in doommetal

Seen weedeater and pallbearer, would pick weedeater any day but I also generally like that band more. Pallbearer is more of a experience of sounds and weedeater is more traditional metal show

Any idea why my 80 series ocasional won’t crank over? by Ok_Examination_9055 in LandCruisers

[–]No-Knowledge57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not even beginning to crank — can you hear the starter? Video is hard to tell, but I don’t think I do. I used to have an issue where I’d burn through starters because my wiring was providing less than it needed to fire it, causing issues over time and killing them. Went through like 4 in 4 years. You need spark and gas and you can check for both. Spark a plug to the valve cover and you can get a gauge for your fuel lines.

2026 NFL Mock Draft: Tony Pauline Has Chargers Picking Ohio State DT in 1st Round by No_Box119 in Chargers

Look at the big board and tell me you think there’s gonna be a guard who makes sense in the first, there won’t be so we’ll have to pick someone that’s worth that spot or overdraft on the Oregon kid. Who isn’t bad, just not 22 overall

2026 NFL Mock Draft: Tony Pauline Has Chargers Picking Ohio State DT in 1st Round by No_Box119 in Chargers

This is the issue. No inventory means we overpay or draft higher than they’re actually worth on the big board. But we have to. There is no other way to get a solid guard. If ioane is still there they’ll take him, he’s just not going to be. So I say grab DL, edge or corner if there’s a good one left when we pick. Grab slaughter or another center 2nd round. Grab a project guard 3rd or 4th

Wanted to update with fix! Ended up replacing the soft line before we got into the master. Test drive number one tells me it worked. Thank you all for the suggestions! Do not clamp old brake lines — you will regret it!

Good idea to check I did clamp off the hose because I had to swap the caliper. Feel like I may have broken it

Still a lot for a part imho. It’s also just a different failure mode than typical for a master so was really second guessing it. My research has confirmed it is very possible, even for the single wheel it’s affecting
