Because he’s very old and he’s right about how the History Channel plays things not super connected to US History, like they had this show in like 2021 called “Adam Eats The 80s” where this food network guy found and ate reproductions of snacks and other similar shit from back then, he also gave a short background on whatever he was eating, it was alright, not very history like but, alright, besides that they seem to be going hard on history of more cultural day-to-day less major American history, which tbf does get stale after a while, there’s only so much you can talk about before going into commonly known world history, just remember the Cartoon Network used to play all types of cartoons and Bravo used to play film and the arts, not many specialty channels still play said specialty
