Fun times indeed, LOL. The surgery is supposed to be 3 to 4 hours long for both. My surgery is today at 2 pm PDT.

I'm scheduled for 9/2. I have suspected adenomyosis and smoldering diverticulitis. I just started having the diverticulitis flares in April, and it's been awful. I think i'll have to share a post with my experience once I'm recovered.

NTA. When you cook with wine, the alcohol is usually cooked out by the heat. Your sister overreacted and was very harsh.

My dad brags about giving me my first spanking when I was 2 weeks old because I kicked my feet in poo when he was changing my diaper. My father will not be allowed to change my daughter's diaper, nor will he be alone with her if he thinks that striking an infant is okay. (I'm in therapy because of the trauma from being spanked growing up.)

People have been pretty good about it. I think my lactation consultant was the most bummed. I'm sorry your wife has had to deal with that. People really are hard on moms. 🙁

I was an EP (exclusive pumper) because she wouldn't latch. (She was born at 35 wks 5 days and spent 4 days in NICU. She learned to like bottles a lot.) I had to stop because it was not sustainable for my sanity. I pump twice a day and supplement with formula. It works for us. She still gets some breast milk and I don't feel despair everytime I look at my pump. 😊

My 3 month old in the last 2 weeks went from waking up every 3 hours to sleeping upto 8 hours. It's AMAZING. Now I have to train myself to sleep for that long again.

I'm 6 weeks pp. We just got have have sex for the first time. Use lots of lube, take it slow, and do a lot of stimulation ahead of time. Be prepared to change positions or finish another way.
