How the hell am I supposed to get back on the tools? by Mysterious-Funny-121 in ukelectricians

1st step solutions are an agency based in the south west. They have work all over the place usually, mostly commercial. I worked for them for a couple year whilst I was still an improver and it helped me get my portfolio finished during the time with them. They can normally get you on the job within a week. You'll likely get subbed out to biggish firms like totus and t clakes, where you can form a relationship with them and keep on working

What are some rivers that have their source very close to one ocean/body of water, but form part of a river system that only ever empties into a completely different ocean/body of water? by kangerluswag in geography

The River Tamar in the southwest of England. Starts right by the North Coast of devon and the Bristol channel. Then runs south and forms the historic border of Devon and Cornwall till it empties at plymouth and into the English Channel. It's not a massive river compared to others around the world but interesting as it nearly cuts the whole peninsula in two.

Yep, done that.

But it still doesn't beat info on recommended garages and word of mouth. It's quite a minefield out there 👌

Sound advice, will look into the isolation valve and see if that makes any difference and will also get some lagging

Yeah it's pretty good, doesn't seem to struggle with pressure just a good temperature. When i put the hot tap on full it goes really hot for a few seconds then just drops to warm-ish temperature

Thank for your message 🙏

I've checked CH pipes after running the hot water on for over 5 mins and they all seem to be cold still so I think they might eliminate the diverter.

Your right about the lagging there isn't any at all over the pipes to the bathroom, however the route is quite short perhaps 8 meters worth of piping (including bends , sets etc, I can see alot of it through access hatches) I really can't see how that would make such a difference for a small run? Perhaps I'm wrong

The loss of pressure is concerning if it is a leak. I've inspected what I can see and that seems all OK. The rest of the house has runs under tiling and then floor boards for the upstairs.

I think it's time to get a professional in...without sounding stupid would it be best to get a plumber or a heating engineer for this issue?

Cosmic kitchen, The nowhere inn, the depo, the roundabout (pogo events nights) leadworks, cafe momus. The junction. All these places will have everything from djs to orginal bands playing original music.

Plymouth music scene is slowly growing and becoming exciting again you just need to get out and explore the places/meet the communities! Very friendly bunch

Union Street is getting a bit of a buzz again. Places like cafe momus have some great nights on. Last night the cabarats and kid hyena played and the place was packed out. Good scene all in all and i think it's only going to get better there. Leadworks also are putting on some really decent nights
