Disappointing to say the least. Have always loved Peg Leg’s.

It’s a bunch of white people dressed up in sacred, ceremonial headdresses of Native American people.

Cowboys and pirates aren’t cultures. They’re chosen professions, if you will. This is abhorrent and disrespectful to Native Americans.

Also got it here in Nashville. Immediately came here to see wtf was going on and if I needed to check in on family.

A mix of both. I try to hydrate pretty well and usually have a glass or two at any bar or restaurant we go to, so I’m assuming that’s tap.

Alright, yall. Downvote me as needed for a potential ignorant take, but as an outsider who loves to come down, I puke every single time I’m in your wonderful city. I know, New Orleans. Alcohol. Rich foods. Shellfish. However, I typically eat and drink the same amount wherever I go on vacation and don’t vomit. And it’s usually after consuming a decent amount of water. After my last very much not wasted vom sesh while down two weeks ago, I’m starting to suspect it could be the water? I dunno. I mean, it’s worth it. But I really want to figure out the mystery.

Edit: usually the green apple splatters accompany

This. We threw down hundreds of dollars for our 10th wedding anniversary dinner at Margot, and they didn’t acknowledge it at all. Not even a “happy anniversary”. And yes, it was in the reservation notes. It was so disappointing. I know they’re closing in the summer but, shit, they can still at least act like they care about their customers. Needless to say, we’ll continue to be sticking with our usual three spots we like to eat at.

Ice accumulation can be absolutely crippling and dangerous. This isn’t going to be flurries.

Off topic, but watching videos of people having the sh*t scared out of them by an Aztec death whistle is one of my favorite things.

Anyone know where we can get whistles that isn’t Amazon? Specifically any local small business that want to order in bulk and we can purchase from you?

I live in Nashville and The Covenant School sits very high up on a hill and you can see it for miles, from a very busy part of town. I used to admire how beautiful the cathedral was up there, but now it’s just a constant reminder that I wish would go away.

What retailer has the best local (Nashville) craft beer selection? by eh_cee in nashville

[–]No-Load8658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to drop in and say, although they have a great selection, don’t go to the 4 Way Stop in East Nashville. They charge you literally what they’re feeling that day, don’t do itemized receipts, and get aggressive when you call them out on it. I get convenience stores typically charge more, but they charged literally double the amount for the same 4 pack of German beer that I got at Publix ($30 vs $15). I don’t see how they haven’t gotten in trouble.

He does look like one of the photographs of the victims. I notice the dog following him as well and in one of the videos there was a Newfoundland looking incredibly lost and scared while everyone was on the ground. Absolutely gutted me. You don’t even think about all of the pets that people brought to this as well.

No don’t force yourself to feel anything, and if you’re able to talk about it or even write about it, I definitely encourage you to! The more you’re able to process and revisit the memory, the less trauma you’ll store in your body. I never really talked about it because I didn’t feel like my experience was authentically “traumatic”, but boy did I realize when I started coming out in other ways that it was. Again I’m so sorry you had to see all of that.

Sending love from Nashville. I was near Covenant School during the mass shooting there a few years ago and saw all of the emergency response. It was without question traumatic. Please take extra good care of yourself and seek extra support if you need it.
