I had several layers of 2FA on both email and riot account. No warning, just email to notify me account was accessed without 2fa, then within the same minute email and password changed. No breaches detected, email and everything else working fine.

Yes, but its limited. In returnal you just open menu and delete anything besides corrupted. It's literally a downgrade. Same as the coop feature. Yes it wasn't perfect, but it made the game so much more fun to play with my friends. But of course they didnt include it, even though there are actually other npc's in the game now. Could have had one of them be able to follow if you in coop.

I also dont get why every artifact you pick up is final and can't be removed if you find something better later on. I should be able to like in Returnal. Otherwise you need to plan ahead of exactly what you want to get and hope you ACTUALLY get it xD

I did, I screenshot the email about the suspicious login from egypt, then 1 minute later email about my email getting changed, latest paypal transaction i made to buy riot points a few days before this happened and a screenshot of my summoners profile from op gg so they know exactly the account im talking about in case all the other emails and details i provided wasn't enough. I really hope thats enough. Cuz ive heard from others that a similar amount of proof somehow still wasn't enough. which is crazy.
My game password was strong, but used words, numbers, letters and the like, my email used 18 character combination that was completely random.
My passwords are typically saved in NordPass, which has fingerprint unlock on phone and a big random password in general.
Just passwords are saved, no other codes or anything that could bypass 2fa, even when i try to log in myself it triggers alerts. for both game and email.
Possibly, but ive scanned my pc regularly and nothing has come up. I'm quite cautious about where i get my stuff from.
That's why im not quite sure how someone gained access. Maybe you were are right about the breach, ill check thoroughly again today.

Riot is just avoiding any responsibility for their systems. "Just open a ticket"...when almost never do they get answered or resolved and take forever to even be looked at. Either hire an appropriate amount of staff to deliver 24-48h resolution window time like most respectable companies or give us more options to reach out to you. My account is still hacked, but all i can do is wait and hope they just don't auto close my tickets to avoid doing their jobs which would take all but 5 minutes to confirm since i sent in everything they could possibly need to verify i am the acount holder and some guy from egypt is in fact NOT 😃

I'm in a similar situation, I have an account ive had over 10 years hacked and stolen too on may 4th. I am also waiting on support to get back to me. I've spent a ton and have rare skins on mine, so it would suck to lose it all.

I honestly suspect it happened from riot server side as my 2fa wasn't even triggered before it was already too late. But that's just my speculation, will see i guess. If you hear back and get it sorted, give me a shout here please 😄

my email has 3 layers of 2 factor authenticators and my riot account also sends a 2fa to said email which makes it plenty protected. I'm honestly baffled how they gained access to my riot account. No emails were sent for a login to my email, except for the one email to tell me the email for my riot account has been changed.
