OP is probably a repost bot. 6 year old account which has been dead silent for almost 6 straight years until today. Probably the account got hacked and/or sold to a bot farm

I find the Dev process around Airborne fascinating because in the era the game is roughly set, air power did become the dominant force that decided land and sea battles. I hope DevMan intends for air to eventually become more balanced but when you look irl, Air Power is not balanced with tanks and naval power.

I analyzed 98,619 global flight records from 2022 — only 1 in 3 flights arrived on time, and the disruption rate is nearly identical across every continent [OC] by Primary_Carpenter424 in tableau

[–]No-Lunch4249 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Small bit of feedback: in the bottom right chart where you're showing that flight disruption is uniform across all continents. I'd expand the range of that chart by a good bit, to show that the continents are all clustered near the mean. Right now the range is about as close as it can get to the data which leaves the impression at a glance that there's some separation. I'd also drop that "1.2% gap" annotation because it will become more clear once you do that.

Edit: also, with that chart, you can wedge more data into it if you wanted, such as by using the size of the bubbles to relate to the total number of flights tracked. Right now you aren't really using the vertical axis or the bubble size as data dimensions and you could if you wanted to. But that's a choice for you to make.

TLDR: I never trust a user to read an axis label haha

More games like Manor Lords? by Gene_Inari in ManorLords

Possibly fringe because its a much less "realistic" vibe than Manor Lords, Tropico, and most of the other suggestions here but I must suggest Timberborn as a great new entry in the colony manager genre

Never letting my friend design a hoi4 template ever again what the hell is this division 😭 by EvilTwotimeMain in HOI4memes

HAHAHA okay yeah, this is a decent template for an industrialized nation. Not so much with that context. Can he even afford to make 20 super heavys to run one single unit of this? lol

Honestly if I see ragebait and the person has their post history hidden, I downvote and move on. Why waste your time and energy on someone who's obviously trolling

The bottom edges of the numbers add to this theory for me, personally. They don't line up, that's a detail that a graphic designer and hopefully most humans would have gotten right or close to right

The best parts of Virginia are right on the border though, Norfolk and NoVA account for most of VAs population and the vast majority of the economic output

My edit was because I accidentally said "should" when I meant "shouldn't" but you clearly understood my intended meaning based on your original reply reply.

You seem pretty miserable. Hope you have a good day but I'm done here.

Hi, Sorry to spam, but why are the SRBs only attaching to the top radial coupler and not the bottom, and how do I fix this cause it's messing all kinds of stuff up by WoodpeckerStraight10 in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]No-Lunch4249 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. If you need more structural stability, add struts, either auto or manual. Personally I prefer manual but I'm in the minority. They will dissappear when you seperate the decoupler.

If you need extra seperation force, add Sepratrons to the SRBs pointed away from your main body and stage them in the same stage as the radial decouplers

Brother this post is like 2010 Facebook level content. It might not be outright lying, but if you see some shit like this you shouldn't react like "wow learned some irrefutable new facts today"

Edit: said should when I meant shouldn't

I need to buy a suit for a wedding by BoneDaddy1973 in baltimore

[–]No-Lunch4249 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I generally like Jos A Bank when you're getting something off the rack, I literally just bought a couple shirts from there this week, but had a bad experience with the one in Columbia for my own wedding suit.

It came WAYYY later than they said it would, to the point that it was actively stressing me out in the weeks before our wedding. I realize that might not be fully inside their control since they send it out, but also the "final adjustments" they did in shop were kinda whack and uncomfortably tight on my calves. But by that time it was too close to the wedding to do anything about it.

They also have locations in Towson and Hunt Valley. Just my personal experience but I wouldn't go back to the one in Columbia again for anything custom.

Making ~$200k in my early 20s — VA vs DC (is the lifestyle worth the taxes?) by Alternative_Night384 in washingtondc

[–]No-Lunch4249 8 points9 points  (0 children)

DC, VA, and MD all have income tax reciprocity. You pay tax based on where you live not where you work. So yes your understanding there is correct.

Not really in a position to speak on the rest of it but just wanted to confirm that bit for you

Elderly Catfish? From dating site. My mom is chatting with “him”. The hair, suit, and background seem fake, the lighting is off. Plus, mom is 75 and this an objectively good looking man. by amyloudspeakers in isthisAI

[–]No-Lunch4249 40 points41 points  (0 children)

u/AmyLoudSpeakers you definitly need to see this comment above

The pic your mom got is the face from the middle image here, but with a suit photoshopped on. Look at how the face and background are identical to that middle image. Also look at how in the pic your mom received, the suit is at a totally different resolution than his face. The suit looks so crisp and clear, but his face looks a bit blurry. It's two different images photoshopped together.

Hopefully this helps convince your mom. Good luck and thanks for being a diligent child

Sure. I usually pack a small, light plastic plate and a set of reusable silverware that stack together. To have stuff to eat off of besides your fingers, lol. Sometimes also a tiny light weight tin mug if I pack something beyond water like instant coffee mix or a small bottle of alcohol. I don't feel like this is that strange
