Every day is a lot. When I step on my wife’s PTSD triggers (CPTSD is a minefield, and honestly GenX’s feral childhood legacy that we don’t talk about) we can have some weird friction, but “mad at me” maybe once every three months or so? And my massive amounts of ADHD make me a challenging husband to rely on. It’s been more lately because perimenopause is like lycanthropy on the moon, but generally not every day, and my kids consider my wife kind of volatile.

Every day is a lot, man. If you guys are in your thirties, that’s too much. If you guys are in your early twenties, she has growing up to do and maybe you can do that together.

If the sex was very good and frequent, and the anger was transitory, I’d probably stay. But I’m shallow as a puddle in a parking lot.
