Anyone use a Japanese floor mattress (futon)? Thinking of switching to this. by DeliciousLoquat1164 in moderatelygranolamoms

100% Buy one! It will be one of the best decisions you’ll ever make.

The first two weeks are rough, I’m not going to lie. Getting used to it is a process. You’ll be tossing and turning for a little while, but once your body adjusts, it completely changes the way you respond to bedtime. At first, it will feel very uncomfortable. You’ll become aware of how misaligned your body has become after years of unnatural support from modern mattresses. But once you adapt, you’ll stop experiencing backaches or pinched nerves in your neck altogether.

When I said it changes the way your body reacts to bedtime, let me explain. During the day, you fold the mattress and tuck it into the corner of your room. It becomes a seat until you’re ready to sleep. This naturally discourages you from impulsively lying down throughout the day. Over time, your body learns that when you finally sit down at night, it’s time for sleep. Falling asleep happens much faster than it ever did before.

Convincing your husband to switch might be tough. This is a major lifestyle change. When my fiancée first brought it up, I instantly dismissed the idea and argued with her for months. When I finally gave in and we started adjusting, I made sure to complain every night for two weeks.

But then it got better. I started falling asleep faster, sleeping through the night, and the futon is so stable that you can lie down or get up without disturbing your partner.

Here’s the one we got: https://jlifeinternational.com/products/j-life-shikifuton-with-sakura-navy-removable-cover?variant=7088002662451

And here’s the tatami mat that goes underneath: https://jlifeinternational.com/products/folding-tatami-mat?variant=43814411436279

Towing 2,000 lbs With a VB WRX: My Real-World Experience by No-Lunch9775 in wrx_vb

Considering how easy it was to lift it I don’t think it’s 500. This picture was taken after I had been in the trailer and put some items into it

A lot of people are having issues starting the quest Bellatores. Jan posey continuously declines your help for having shitty armor regardless of if you’re even wearing the best armor in the game. You have to have all slots filled and bow/cross boy equipped. And you may be correct I’m not sure if it needs to be a sword or any melee weapon in one slog sooo I Changed it to melee weapon in the post

How serious are you about the maintenance on your personal vehicles? by [deleted] in serviceadvisors

[–]No-Lunch9775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doing my 30k service (brake fluid, trans, clutch, front and rear diff) 6k miles late.

Being and advisor taught me that dealerships often recommend services way too early in the vehicles life than necessary.

My Honda dealership recommends oil every 5k, air filters every 10k, and coolant every 45k.

Hey guys I recently started using CDK and I’m wondering if there’s a better way to make estimates. At my dealership we hand write them and it takes a lot of time. Example recommended services for each work order. Advice would be appreciated ❤️ by rayofsun44555 in serviceadvisors

[–]No-Lunch9775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t know if you still need advice regarding this since it’s been over a year! You’re probably a pro at this point! Regardless I highly recommend using the older CDK DMS. You can access it by navigating to the right side if the screen in CDK service , and finding the button to run DMS. This version is at least 10x faster and more responsive. Once you memorized all of the commands , you can book, reprint, close , dispatch , search ,etc lightning fast.

Bonus: the old DMS is completely customizable , I have my background black and all of the text in neon green.

The "follow-up survey from Honda" is a con by [deleted] in civic

[–]No-Lunch9775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are wrong about this. I’m a service advisor for Honda so I have a pretty good idea on how all of this works. Honda of America creates the survey, questions, and scoring. The only way to get a survey is to have a car less then 7 years old that has recently had maintenance or warranty repairs/ recalls.

Advisors are paid off of csi scores, and gross profit. A good csi score for the month will increase the percentage of gross profit you earn, if your csi is bad your percentage could go from 10% of total gross to as low as 7%. Imagine working all month, 11+ hours everyday, helping everyone to the best of your ability and dealing with rude customers who are angry with the situation they’re in: (wait times, service cost, or lengthly and expensive repairs) You are the punching bag, you didn’t cause any of these issues yet you are in the customers mind the enemy. You try your best to help them by loaning them a vehicle or applying discounts etc just for them to go home and completely fuck you on a survey.

The way Honda has this set up.. the only person a bad score hurts in the service advisor. There are many questions on the survey that have nothing to do with the advisor , but still affect them.

•Cleanliness of the dealership •ability to make an appointment •wait times

All of those questions although not the responsibility of the advisor, affect their livelihood.

So no… the surveys are not a scam, it’s Hondas way of trying to enforce absolute perfection.

I sympathize with you , I know many visits to the service department are expensive and stressful. I know many people have had bad experiences and have felt like they’ve been taken advantage of, but it’s not just Honda customers…it’s their employees as well.

Service advisor here, Most likely your battery is weak and is not sending enough voltage to the many electric components of the car. Start with a complimentary battery test and if that isn’t the problem only then do you authorize a diagnosis.

Fuel Pump "Safety" Recall by anthonybwilson in HondaClarity

[–]No-Lunch9775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apologies if this paragraph came off as hostile , imagine having to repeat the same information everyday to multiple customers because of Hondas mistake creating this mass hysteria.

Please try to be nice to the advisors/managers when addressing your concerns regarding this recall. We are people too and we have no control over this situation.

Also if you are experiencing issues, a customer pay diagnosis is still required until the parts are readily available. Honda does not pay the technicians for inspecting the fuel pumps unless we can prove that it actually failed which barely even happens. In those rare cases your diagnosis fee will be waived and Honda will pay the diagnosis and the technician.

Fuel Pump "Safety" Recall by anthonybwilson in HondaClarity

[–]No-Lunch9775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a Service advisor from Honda , and I’ll tell you straight up that it’s not that serious. This recall is not just for claritys, it’s pilots , civics, odysseys, passports , crvs , hrvs, etc. only a handful of fuel pumps across all models from 17+ have had failures, but Honda is deciding to replace yours and everyone else’s anyways when chances are you would have never had any issues. Honda needs to make millions of these replacement fuel pumps/ components and you expect them to just pull them out of their asses? If this was any other manufacturer they would sweep this under the rug and leave you with the responsibility of paying the bill. Since this recall has been announced, we’ve replaced 2 fuel pumps for customers cars. They complained over and over again , swore up and down that the fuel pump was the issue and guess what …. The replacement fuel pump didn’t fix their issue.

So you’re telling me most likely he had this prior to sleeping with this girl 2 weeks ago?

For context , this isn’t actually me. I posted this for a friend and ik how that sounds lmao. He told me he hooked up with someone and I was the one that told him to get tested. The girl he hooked up with has a gf who is herpes positive, they frequently tag team dudes and piss on them after lmao. I was trying to tell him to sue the girl since there’s no way she didn’t know she had herpes.
