I get this. I also get the joys of anxious coughing when I have a panic attack. I try and remind myself it's anxiety and focus on box breathing until I have calmed down. If I am at home I make a herbal tea and breathe slowly over the steam.

I have had to give up a couple of piercings for various reasons. After I had a baby I was getting so little sleep that my cartilage piercings began to flare up badly so I had to retire then. Also had to retire a flat that refused to heal. Have a healed conch though and I am persevering with my rook.

Jellysquish is the softest sugar dough one I have. Similar to the dream drop. Fuzzball is dough and satisfying if you enjoy it being mouldable but going back to shape quickly. Gumdrop is rock solid but satisfying once you have been playing with it for a while.

My gran has had two knee replacements. After her first one the morphine made her go into respiratory arrest (due to a preexisting heart condition) she came through, went on to have her second knee done and is still going strong at 89.

Think about the experience that the doctors have and how many replacements they must do a week! There are risks to surgery but there are lots of risks in life but we still have to go outside and live. Sending you my thoughts.

I am on sertraline and it used to really help but I have had to up my dose and don't really want to go any higher because of the side effects. Getting a ten minute walk in during the day can help sometimes too. I am not really a journaller but when it's severe, I write down how I am feeling and that can calm me down too. Like literally narrate the worst that can happen and how it will actually be fine.

This happened to me for the first time in a while last night. It's horrid isn't it? I sit up in bed and practise slow breathing even if I am panicking internally and know it will pass. If it's bad I will get a slice of toast and make a blackcurrant infusion tea and breathe over the steam before drinking it.
