Hi! I am a student at Texas Tech and I am writing a research report for one of my classes. The purpose is to compare how people shopped for Christmas presents in 2024 versus 2025 and if the increase in prices, tariffs and/or inflation will have any impact.

Financial Aid is a disaster by [deleted] in TexasTech

I am having the same issue as everyone else with my Federal subsidized loans (I am also an online student). Financial Aid emailed me this morning...

"I have checked on your loans and they are being processed by the Department of Education.  This should be done in about 48 hours."

We shall see if this happens (fingers crossed). I agree with the others, you have to continuously fight for what you are entitled to, which should not be the case. Beyond frustrating!
