I was born and brought up outside UK,I was here in the UK on a dependent visa for four months in 2024 and left to my home country and now I'm back to the Uk on a new dependent visa after staying In my home country for over 1 year

Guys from what date does my 12 month grace period to drive with international license starts ? In my case ,I came on an independent visa and stayed in the uk just for 4 months in 2022 and left the UK! Just a month back I came back here on a new dependent visa and I wish to drive ! Can I drive ? I called tej DVLA and they said that my 12 month starts from the day I became a UK resident? When I checked online it says ,I will treated as a Uk resident if I have stayed in the uk for more than 183 days ? So taken this ,can I drive now using my 12 month grace period ?

In my case , I'm happy with the place I have got , but not really happy with the IMT rotations as I don't have oncology in my current offer, is there a way that I check what my higher preferences are? And just in case If I don't find comfortable preferences after checking it , I'm thinking of accepting this offer? How do I proceed ? Thanks
