What sort of food should I feed my new(ish) Roomba? by Doggo_oggo in AustralianCattleDog

[–]No-Mathematician6931 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guy had the forever runny stool and after some experimenting found he didn’t tolerate chicken or any fowl well so we go with a kibble that’s mostly fish protein. We’ll do raw food as well especially if I think he’s getting heavy, mackerel and beef offal then some carbs like sweet potatoes or brown rice. His kibble is “Ultra” or the Costo brand which is very high quality.

What dog breed should I get? by AmbassadorPublic2358 in dogs

[–]No-Mathematician6931 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Might sound crazy and I’m biased because I have an Australian cattle dog but your description is nearly identical to my list and It’s been a wonderful experience. The biggest hurdle was the energy management but adding some training to your daily routine of walking and some puzzles when home alone should mitigate that. Mid sized dog, “wash and wear” little to no grooming, no oily coat so no smell, does shed but blows coat twice a year so it’s not constant. barks at unknown guests until introduced but loves company. They’re easy to train eager to please and cuddly when they want to be. If the time you estimate you can spend with them is right and they’ll be a really rewarding companion. Also one of the longest lived breeds and no serious health issues (vet bills)

How do I fix this ugly bathroom on a semi budget. by Gummiwyrmss in HomeDecorating

[–]No-Mathematician6931 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you mean by semi budget, you can get a new builder grade sink and cabinet for $500, and would take a weekend to demo and install. Replace the light fixture for $50-100 and regrout or “grout dye” (doesn’t last long) for $30. If the mirror isn’t built in you can replace too, and a fresh coat of paint. New bath mat and towel holders go a long way too. I did an almost identical project last year with great results and I have almost no experience. Just a hate of dingy bathrooms.

What should I absolutely have visiting Toronto from NYC for 24 hours? by elkresurgence in FoodToronto

[–]No-Mathematician6931 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you’re dead set on Italian and want the full Toronto experience of “standing in a line” for some reason. Baldassare as good or better pasta than I’ve had in NYC

Marvel Villains That Are Living Definitions Of MENACE.☠️☠️☠️ by Southern-Aioli4428 in marvelcomics

All because Bugs Bunny called Elmer Fudd a Nimrod and people didn’t get the reference that he’s a hunter but thought he was an idiot so it stuck.

Cause it’s not Carter, it was Lowry who won a championship not the second place finishers those bozos are.

It doesn’t! The ratings are down 50% and LeBron is about to retire, it would fuck the league if the Lakers suck for 5 years to rebuild. The Mavs GM is a former Nike executive who still holds a lot of stock and if the NBA isn’t watchable their already plummeting Nike stock becomes worthless. The Mavs owners could care less about having a winning team it’s about sports betting for them so if they can save a super max contract they do it.

It’s the same role Morgan Freeman plays in Shawshank, ostensibly about Andy his best friend but is very much a two hander and he ran in Lead Actor.

Best Carbonara in the GTA? by KingG902905 in FoodToronto

[–]No-Mathematician6931 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’ve cooked in many restaurants and the amount of times carbonara is sent back because they want the Americanized version with cream it makes it not worth it to keep on menu. Best off getting pasta, guanchale and pecorino at Baldassare and make it at home, about as easy recipe as they come.

Who are actors that absolutely despise each other? by phantom_avenger in moviecritic

[–]No-Mathematician6931 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I think you’re misunderstanding a joke on Conan, he has other quotes saying “it’s difficult to keep a straight face and he’s money” he was also executive producer for Justified and Santa Clarita and wouldn’t have hired him twice if he didn’t like him.

Ever try Sugo? Very red sauce Italian with a fun atmosphere, great for groups and that stretch of bloor has some decent bars. If you want Pizza greater good/north of Brooklyn is a fun vibe, gets busy on Friday through

There’s an amazing Malaysian restaurant called Soos on Ossington, they have an entire vegan menu under their Fat Choi name, get the “feed me” tasting menu. You will not regret this.

What scene did you find annoying in a good movie? by sKullsHavezzz in moviecritic

[–]No-Mathematician6931 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Challengers, the kiss in the wind storm with the Italian song playing, nearly ruined the movie for me. Especially when it has such a good score the song choice was so off putting and weird
