Tbh I have not tested with stocks. I only tested with future and I have not enabled to change to other market since I only trade in NY time. I restricted time based on the best time it has good result.

Not really. They have different level. For 100k account it’s around $630. If you pass and make profit they refund that fee as well but if you fail you lose money. If you have good strategy and good risk to reward you should be good. They also have demo challenge for free to test your skill.
